More than just a fancy name. TURNIGY nano-tech Lipoly batteries were designed from the ground up with serious performance in mind. Utilising an advanced LiCo nano-technology substrate that allows electrons to pass more freely from anode to cathode with less internal impedance. In short; less voltage sag and a higher discharge rates than a similar density lithium polymer (non nano-tech) batteries.

For those who love graphs, it means higher voltage under load, straighter discharge curves and excellent performance. For pilots it spells stronger throttle punches and unreal straight-up performance. Excellent news for 3D pilots!

Unfortunately with other big brands; numbers, ratings and graphs can be fudged. Rest assured, TURNIGY nano-techs are the real deal, delivering unparalleled performance!

Spec.
Capacity: 3300mAh
Voltage: 6S1P / 6S Cell / 22.2V
Discharge: 35C Constant / 70C Burst
Weight: 522g (including wire, plug & case)
Dimensions: 136x44x43mm
Balance Plug: JST-XH
Discharge Plug: 4mm Bullet-connector

Suited to the following models:
6S: LOGO500, GAUI EP425/550/X5
6S x 2: MIKADO LOGO500SE/600/600SE, ALIGN T-REX600, HENSELEIT TDR, Compass Atom 6HV, Outrage Fusion 50

Advantages over traditional Lipoly batteries;
• Power density reaches 7.5 kw/kg.
• Less Voltage sag during high rate discharge, giving more power under load.
• Internal impedance can reach as low as 1.2mO compared to that of 3mO of a standard Lipoly.
• Greater thermal control, pack usually doesn’t exceed 60degC
• Swelling during heavy load doesn’t exceed 5%, compared to 15% of a normal Lipoly.
• Higher capacity during heavy discharge. More than 90% at 100% C rate.
• Fast charge capable, up to 15C on some batteries.
• Longer Cycle Life, almost double that of standard lipoly technology.

The nano-core technology in lithium ion batteries is the application of nanometer conductive additives. The nanometer conductive additives form ultra-strong electron-conducting networks in the electrodes which can increase electronic conductivity.

These additives create the ability for imbibition in the carrier liquid to supply more ion channels. This improves the ability of ion transmission and ion diffusion. Through improving electronic conductivity and ion transmission, the impedance is reduced and the polarization of high rate discharge decreases greatly.

  • Capacity (mAh) 3300.00
  • Discharge(c) 35.00
  • Max Charge Rate(C) 8.00
  • Length-A(mm) 136.00
  • Height-B(mm) 44.00
  • Width-C(mm) 43.00

I have bought six of these batteries and use them in a Trex 600 pro in a 12s setup. I have used them regularly for several months and they have worked very well with flights around 7 minutes for general sports flying. After use there is hardly any change in cell temperature but then that is in cool British weather. I charge the cells usually at 1C and treat them gently but I am more than happy to buy more when funds allow.

Overall nanotechs are good for about half of there C rating. I have a bunch and they still perform but they puff. If your like me its discouraging to say the least. Store them cool and at 3.8v otherwise you'll experience issues sooner then later. This is a good lipo for the price, will hold a 50A constant drain without getting past 90F. Not the best, not the worst. Overall a good battery.

Best batteries I've used so far for my T-Rex 500 pro & esp. 35C * 3.3A is a lot for a 500 but I guess these batteries will have a longer lifespan than the 25C version. Maybe a tight fit with some canopies but it does fit. 5 minutes of hard sport flying will leave 3.85V per cell with a 500 E Pro with a headspeed of 2900RPM. COG seemed OK with the default Align canopy but with the Turnigy 500 Pro canopy the COG is a little bit to the front.

I am currently waiting to recieve my third nano-tech 3300 6S for the HK Spacewalker. The first two that was received had one low cell and would not charge. At a cost of $16 each I had to return them under the warranty. They were shipped from the WA. warehouse in this faulty condition which doesn't say much for quality control. I'm waiting to see if HK will at least credit my account with one of the return cost. We will see. I am a Platinum customer. I hope that means something to HK. Will keep you posted. Gladdad
