Suited to the following models: Hirobo Lepton EX, HIROBO SDX-EP(4S x 2)

More than just a fancy name. TURNIGY nano-tech Lipoly batteries were designed from the ground up with serious performance in mind. Utilising an advanced LiCo nano-technology substrate that allows electrons to pass more freely from anode to cathode with less internal impedance. In short; less voltage sag and a higher discharge rates than a similar density lithium polymer (non nano-tech) batteries.

For those that love graphs, it means higher voltage under load, straighter discharge curves and excellent performance. For pilots it spells stronger throttle punches and unreal straight-up performance. Excellent news for 3D pilots!

Unfortunately with other big brands; numbers, ratings and graphs can be fudged. Rest assured, TURNIGY nano-techs are the real deal, delivering unparalleled performance!

Spec.
Capacity: 4000mAh
Voltage: 4S1P / 4 Cell / 14.8V
Discharge: 25C Constant / 50C Burst
Weight: 430g (including wire & plug)
Dimensions: 153x49x27mm
Balance Plug: JST-XH
Discharge Plug: 4mm bullet-connector

Advantages over traditional Lipoly batteries;
• Power density reaches 7.5 kw/kg.
• Less Voltage sag during high rate discharge, giving more power under load.
• Internal impedance can reach as low as 1.2mO compared to that of 3mO of a standard Lipoly.
• Greater thermal control, pack usually doesn’t exceed 60degC
• Swelling during heavy load doesn’t exceed 5%, compared to 15% of a normal Lipoly.
• Higher capacity during heavy discharge. More than 90% at 100% C rate.
• Fast charge capable, up to 15C on some batteries.
• Longer Cycle Life, almost double that of standard lipoly technology.

The nano-core technology in lithium ion batteries is the application of nanometer conductive additives. The nanometer conductive additives form ultra-strong electron-conducting networks in the electrodes which can increase electronic conductivity.

These additives create the ability for imbibition in the carrier liquid to supply more ion channels. This improves the ability of ion transmission and ion diffusion. Through improving electronic conductivity and ion transmission, the impedance is reduced and the polarization of high rate discharge decreases greatly.

  • Capacity (mAh) 4000.00
  • Discharge(c) 25.00
  • Max Charge Rate(C) 5.00
  • Length-A(mm) 153.00
  • Height-B(mm) 49.00
  • Width-C(mm) 27.00

Acquistata e lasciata in storage per un mese è diventata gonfia e la ho dovuta gettare nel cestino . Ennesima delusione.

Excellent battery. I have compared these to the Zippy compact and they run much better. The dimensions stated on the description are wrong. I measured 153x48x26. Nice size for any medium size quad.

Bought a few of these recently. Satisfied with their performance so far. Running them 1 at a time on a 960kv motor hexacopter, takeoff weight at 2.4kg/5lb. Mildly warm after flight, nothing I am worried about, since I have not seen any puffing. One was ruined in a crash, when it got a deep dent in a cell. That was lame. $40 gone. But overall they seem very good. Remember to protect your batteries folks!

Everyone is complaining about the same in the web... nanotechs became crap!
O have less than 20 cycles (using them properly) and they only fill 3500mah.
They used to be good, but not anymore...

I used two of these in series on a Direct Connections F-18 powered by a Scorpion motor and Castle ICE 100A ESC. These are hidden inside a wooden platform and provide excellent performance while pulling about 65A. They always come down slightly warmer than ambient after an 8 minute flight and zero puffing after 20 flights. All cells were perfectly balanced upon arrival.

Ran these in my Genesis over the Easter Break.
Performed flawlessly in Parallel mode.
Ran boat flat out for the full charge and didn't even get warm.
Everything in the boat was cool including my 180 amp speed controller.
Recharged these and all cells came up at 4.20 volts
Just about to order two more.

Great product
