More than just a fancy name. TURNIGY nano-tech Lipoly batteries were designed from the ground up with serious performance in mind. Utilising an advanced LiCo nano-technology substrate that allows electrons to pass more freely from anode to cathode with less internal impedance. In short; less voltage sag and a higher discharge rates than a similar density lithium polymer (non nano-tech) batteries.

Advantages over traditional Lipoly batteries;
• Power density reaches 7.5 kw/kg.
• Less Voltage sag during high rate discharge, giving more power under load.
• Internal impedance can reach as low as 1.2mO compared to that of 3mO of a standard Lipoly.
• Greater thermal control, pack usually doesn’t exceed 60degC
• Swelling during heavy load doesn’t exceed 5%, compared to 15% of a normal Lipoly.
• Higher capacity during heavy discharge. More than 90% at 100% C rate.
• Fast charge capable, up to 15C on some batteries.
• Longer Cycle Life, almost double that of standard lipoly technology.

The nano-core technology in lithium ion batteries is the application of nanometer conductive additives. The nanometer conductive additives form ultra-strong electron-conducting networks in the electrodes which can increase electronic conductivity.

These additives create the ability for imbibition in the carrier liquid to supply more ion channels. This improves the ability of ion transmission and ion diffusion. Through improving electronic conductivity and ion transmission, the impedance is reduced and the polarization of high rate discharge decreases greatly.

These batteries are the only ones to own at the price. I have 2 of each at 3,4,5 and 6 cell. all 4,000 mah . All long lived and great performers. Because they all are the same mah and discharge value I can create any number of variable cell packs and have even discharge of the individual pack.

I HAVE 2 OF THESE 4000 MAH 4S 45-90C BATTERIES. THEY HAVE ONLY 24 CYCLES. EACH FLIGHT USED ABOUT HALF OF THE CHARGE, AND ONLY BEEN
CHARGED AT 1C. BOTH BATTERIES AFE PUFFED UP SO BADLY THEY ARE ABOUT TO BURST. I ONLY REGISTERS 3 CELLS. I WILL NOT BE BUYING
ANYMORE NANO-TECH BATTERIES. I GOT NO HELP FROM THE SUPPORT TEAM.

c rating is 90c which is a load of crap running it in the Dynam 262 pulling a hundred amps lasted under 3 mins on full tit battery was puffed enough to split the foam only good for a hot water bottle or a hand warmer gloves would be required waste of money very over rated in discharge dept

Nice lipo, barely fits in Savage Flux holster. I'd say if you went with a 48mm or less height you would be better off but it does fit if you center it and push down hard on the lid. I bet you could fit a 32mm wide lipo in the Flux holster but I haven't tried.

This is a big lipo!! I am using these on my FMS Warbirds (will not fit in the V-6 Mustang unless you cut out some foam!) Also works awesome in the 3DHobbyshop Extra 330 SC (57") Charges up fast at 2C as I don't have a charger that can push 40AMPS!! Great lipo for the money!

I purchased this pack as a trial for my boat. i had heard good things about the nano-tech battery so i had to try it formyself.

all i can say is the hype is correct, these are great packs for high voltage applications.
