More than just a fancy name. TURNIGY nano-tech Lipoly batteries were designed from the ground up with serious performance in mind. Utilising an advanced LiCo nano-technology substrate that allows electrons to pass more freely from anode to cathode with less internal impedance. In short; less voltage sag and a higher discharge rates than a similar density lithium polymer (non nano-tech) batteries.

For those that love graphs, it means higher voltage under load, straighter discharge curves and excellent performance. For pilots it spells stronger throttle punches and unreal straight-up performance. Excellent news for 3D pilots!

Advantages over traditional Lipoly batteries;
• Power density reaches 7.5 kw/kg.
• Less Voltage sag during high rate discharge, giving more power under load.
• Internal impedance can reach as low as 1.2mO compared to that of 3mO of a standard Lipoly.
• Greater thermal control, pack usually doesn’t exceed 60degC
• Swelling during heavy load doesn’t exceed 5%, compared to 15% of a normal Lipoly.
• Higher capacity during heavy discharge. More than 90% at 100% C rate.
• Fast charge capable, up to 15C on some batteries.
• Longer Cycle Life, almost double that of standard lipoly technology.

The nano-core technology in lithium ion batteries is the application of nanometer conductive additives. The nanometer conductive additives form ultra-strong electron-conducting networks in the electrodes which can increase electronic conductivity.

These additives create the ability for imbibition in the carrier liquid to supply more ion channels. This improves the ability of ion transmission and ion diffusion. Through improving electronic conductivity and ion transmission, the impedance is reduced and the polarization of high rate discharge decreases greatly.

Order 3, just came in. All cell are pretty balance. Ordered the for an Hexacopter (multi rotor).. DON'T DO SO. With 2 of them my Hexa fell into the ground on one side once and just fell straight the other time with almost no warning, the Hexa is equipped with low cell voltage warning (2) and they both fell to warned me. Only on the second battery I heard.. bip bip twice and it fell to the ground. Luckily I was not high and only broke some prop. I don't get how the NANO reach their low voltage without ANY sign. I can reach an easy 8-9 minute with 4000mah 3S Zippy Compact and have plenty of warning. The NANO where at 7minutes when the Hecta fell into the ground. Not saying they are not good but I think they are not design for multi rotor use.

Battery's are super light and thin compared to others in my line up of battery's. All cells were perfect. After a few discharges and charges they still peak and balance perfectly. Only downer is the plug. Wish they came bare wire. But that's not hard to change

I keep being impressed with the Nano-Tech batteries. When this battery arrived I had to look at it closely because it was about the same size(at first glance) as a 2S lipo. Great for limited space battery compartments.Love these batteries. Great punch, smooth delivery. Never been disappointed with the Nanos.

I have run this pack probably 40-50 times now. Still works 100pcnt. All cells still charge up and test at 4.20 on a Fluke multimeter. This definitely has more "zing" in my Axial Exo than my 30c or 40c batteries. So far I have purchased 6 Lipo batteries both 2s and 3s from Hobbyking and only one of them had a weak cell. It took nearly a month but I got a refund for the defective one. I feel that is decent considering how cheap the batteries are. I will continue to buy Turnigy batteries.

I never dissapointed in nanotech batteries. Its the best ever!

I use this big battery into my Phantom 1550mm FPV plane with original ESC, Servos...etc and i can fly 30mins and after not hot this battery.

Purchased x 2 of these for quad (discovery type frame/1000kv motors) for FPV.
They do the job very well ... 15 mins flying time just slightly warm after hard use, cells all identical, good value will be getting more.
