    More than just a fancy name. TURNIGY nano-tech Lipoly batteries were designed from the ground up with serious performance in mind. Utilising an advanced LiCo nano-technology substrate that allows electrons to pass more freely from anode to cathode with less internal impedance. In short; less voltage sag and a higher discharge rates than a similar density lithium polymer (non nano-tech) batteries.

    For those that love graphs, it means higher voltage under load, straighter discharge curves and excellent performance. For pilots it spells stronger throttle punches and unreal straight-up performance. Excellent news for 3D pilots!

    Advantages over traditional Lipoly batteries;
    • Power density reaches 7.5 kw/kg.
    • Less Voltage sag during high rate discharge, giving more power under load.
    • Internal impedance can reach as low as 1.2mO compared to that of 3mO of a standard Lipoly.
    • Greater thermal control, pack usually doesn’t exceed 60degC
    • Swelling during heavy load doesn’t exceed 5%, compared to 15% of a normal Lipoly.
    • Higher capacity during heavy discharge. More than 90% at 100% C rate.
    • Fast charge capable, up to 15C on some batteries.
    • Longer Cycle Life, almost double that of standard lipoly technology.

    The nano-core technology in lithium ion batteries is the application of nanometer conductive additives. The nanometer conductive additives form ultra-strong electron-conducting networks in the electrodes which can increase electronic conductivity.

    These additives create the ability for imbibition in the carrier liquid to supply more ion channels. This improves the ability of ion transmission and ion diffusion. Through improving electronic conductivity and ion transmission, the impedance is reduced and the polarization of high rate discharge decreases greatly.

    Bought 6 to use in series for a 10 cell set up on an AXI 5330/18.

    Excellent performance to date. Strong delivery of power for a good 10-12 mins. Voltage drops to 3.8v at lowest. No puffing or heat build up when pulling 80amps.

    Exceptional piece of kit. I am running 4 of the highest power LED lights available in an underwater lighting system and the burn time and power is unequalled by any other batteries I have tried. Highly recommended.

    I bought two of the these from a fellow club member. I like them but I wish they made them in a 6000mah battery. I use them in series to make a 10 cell lipo battery. The reason I want them in 6000mah is than I can get a few more minutes flying time with out the added weight of the 8000mah nano tech being offered right now. All I can say about them is they are great.

    First Ive bought 2 packs, combined to a 10s lipo pack for my F3A.
    Performance was better than the normally used lipos and they stayed cool. The inner resistance were 2-3 milliohm.
    After 20 cycles the lipo got the first thick cell and the performance went down compared to the meanwhile bought newer nanos.
    The inner resistance climbed up to 5,0 milliohm, no good news.
    About 20 pieces of 5s nano 5000mah are meanwhile in my lipobox.
    I hope that the fresher ones will stay hard, will have a longer low resistance, and will dont leave performance after a lot of cycles!
    After this season Ill tell you more about the nanos.

    these nano-teck batteries are the best hobbyking sells. hooked up in series 2=10s I get 10 mins of flying time in my 1/4 scale extra 300.
