    More than just a fancy name. TURNIGY nano-tech Lipoly batteries were designed from the ground up with serious performance in mind. Utilising an advanced LiCo nano-technology substrate that allows electrons to pass more freely from anode to cathode with less internal impedance. In short; less voltage sag and a higher discharge rates than a similar density lithium polymer (non nano-tech) batteries.

    For those that love graphs, it means higher voltage under load, straighter discharge curves and excellent performance. For pilots it spells stronger throttle punches and unreal straight-up performance. Excellent news for 3D pilots!

    Advantages over traditional Lipoly batteries;
    • Power density reaches 7.5 kw/kg.
    • Less Voltage sag during high rate discharge, giving more power under load.
    • Internal impedance can reach as low as 1.2mO compared to that of 3mO of a standard Lipoly.
    • Greater thermal control, pack usually doesn’t exceed 60degC
    • Swelling during heavy load doesn’t exceed 5%, compared to 15% of a normal Lipoly.
    • Higher capacity during heavy discharge. More than 90% at 100% C rate.
    • Fast charge capable, up to 15C on some batteries.
    • Longer Cycle Life, almost double that of standard lipoly technology.

    The nano-core technology in lithium ion batteries is the application of nanometer conductive additives. The nanometer conductive additives form ultra-strong electron-conducting networks in the electrodes which can increase electronic conductivity.

    These additives create the ability for imbibition in the carrier liquid to supply more ion channels. This improves the ability of ion transmission and ion diffusion. Through improving electronic conductivity and ion transmission, the impedance is reduced and the polarization of high rate discharge decreases greatly.

    Becareful with that battery !!! I just bought a pair of these batteries 6/16/2016 and today 07/29/2016 one of them just swelled and loose all power when reach 10volts. I just recharge 4 that 4 times. As the warranty are only 30 days, it means I loose my money.

    Overall good product - using it for longer time. Discharging 5600mah and cell's are near 3.6v.
    Using on S500 and flight time keeps between 18 and 20min - not hover. Distances are in range 3-5km.

    Awesome battery. Lasts well, charges well. I just wish they were cheaper as the price per mAh is quite high.

    I've got 2 of these and I'm just ordering 2 more.
    Astonishingly good battery. Recharges very fast and holds it's charge well. I run this on an F550 hex and get about 12 minutes flying then I can charge it at 20Amps, fill it with 5400mAh in about 16 minutes and be flying again. I could survive on just 2 batteries! (they get a bit warm if you keep that up though...)
    I also have a pair of Zippy Flightmax 8000mAh, which are heavier and only seem to hold about the same charge, so I get less flying time (because of the weight.)
    One star off value because they are a little bit pricy.

    I purchased four of these and the all bloated (expanded) on the second use! Each one did the same. Yet I have older older packs, by a different company, that all are still fine. So it is NOT how I am using them.

    I brought this lipo a few years ago, I thought I had no use for it because of its size, and i sold it for less than half price, i have been angry about that ever since because id love to have this lipo now. ): I just gotta learn not to do stupid s**t ever again, recently I lost around 100 in cash which drives me mad, thats the last straw though, no more money wasting or bad decisions.

    Bought two...one came with a 0v cell. The rest of this is filler since it was not allowing my review because it was too short?! What is the least amount of characters in order for my review to qualify, hmmm or is it because of my rating of the product..hmmm.
