Awesome!

To me, this motor is the same as the Eflight motor as far as quality and performance. And for $17, great value!! It even came with a spare main shaft which was a nice touch.

Max 9X6

May 18, 2018

I tested the motor with a 9X6 prop: 1000 gram thrust, 17A and 135 Watt. Just within specs, I guess. It didn't become too hot, at 15 seconds full power.

INCREDIBLE POWER FOR THE MONEY. I MOUTN MINE TURNIGY 450 IN A ALPHA 450 SPORT, MOTOR HAS PLENTY OF POWER AND FITS EXACTLY IN THE MOUNT. VERY RELIABLE, WITH 9x4.5 PROP, 25A ESC AND 220O LIPO I CAN FLY MORE THAN 15 MINUTES, I RECOMEND THIS ONE FOR PLANES 600 TO 800 GRS.

Of all my HK purchases this is by far my favourite. Currently this is pulling a 600g FTBloodywonder around the sky on an 8*6 prop. This motor is a little heavy for its size due to the monster prop-adapter and the fixing at the rear of the plane. Also replacement shafts are CHEEEEEEAAAAP.

Excellent price/ value ratio!
10x 4.5 propeller at 11.1V Lipo.
Quatrokopter with 1050g needs only 133W hovering power!
> 7g / Watt!!

I have this motor on a large Super Cub and it is plenty of motor. There is a guy on e-bay selling the motor mounts so all you do is bolt it on and buy a hobby king 20 amp esc. Hope this helps.

Running with a 3s 2250mah folding prop runs 8x6 15A 9200rpm . 9x5 15.5A 9000rpm. 9x6 16.5A 8540rpm I think the 9x6 is a bit tall 9x5 is my favourite .The 4mm shaft looks beefy and should give no trouble .The mounting screws are 2x 3mm and 2x 2.5mm the 2.5s are on the narrow pitch fixing. People tell me 3mm all round is more usual bench tested only but looks good and quite a few kv sizes available in this product in the UK
