    Product Description

    Ever had the need to cut down or trim the diameter of your propellers "Bullnose"? Now you can do this with extreme accuracy with this nicely made propeller modification tool. The unit is CNC machined from aluminum and the hub where the propeller is attached has a large ballrace to ensure the ultimate in accuracy.

    It is extremely easy to use, you clamp your electric rotary multi-tool into the clamp provided and put into the chuck a rotary cutter. You then bolt your propeller to the adjustable hub, the position of this hub can be adjusted from 2.25 inches to 5 inches away from the cutter to enable you to modify a wide range of propellers. Measure the amount you wish to trim off the propeller and lock the hub into place, start the multi-tool and trim the first blade, then swing the propeller blade around and do the next one. This tool will ensure that each blade whether it is a 2, 3 or 4 blade propeller will be trimmed to exactly the same amount from the center mounting hole as each other.

    This tool allows you to fine tune your model by reducing the diameter of your propellers, or trim a propeller that has had minor damage to the tip. It is particularly useful on multi-copters where you wish to modify the blades and you want each set to be identical in diameter or too fit larger stronger 6inch props to a frame that can only clear 5inch.

    Received this tool and as stated does not work with dremel . Quick fix ........ get a 5mm coupler , several fender washers and 5 mm threaded rod to extend prop mount . Afffix with blue lock tight and cut to needed length. You can now use with dremel or drill !

    because the shaft to which the prop is fixed is so short, it'll only work with a very specific design of electric tool, forget using your standard drill or even a Dremel. and since the it'll only cut props down to not less than 4.5', it wouldn't do 90pcnt of the work it's expected to anyways (talking of quads at least). a good concept but poorly designed product. could have been so useful.

    Got this today and it is great! I get 10" props for about a buck a piece but the tips hit each other slightly on my CX-20. This trims 1/4" off very fast and they are almost perfectly balanced when done. I am using a larger router and had to adapt it to fit. But this change on mounting lets me cut blades even larger than 10".
