In our tests we used the TURNIGY Bell TR2408-21 outrunner with a TURNIGY Basic 25A speed controller. We used a variety of batteries from 1300 2S to X-Thin 2200mAh 3S. All performing well. For servo''s we used HXT900''s for Aileron and GWS Park for Elevator and Rudder.
