Turnigy SK3 Motors are the next leap forward in motor quality and design. We instructed the engineers to source the best quality magnets, bearings and materials available to them and develop a motor that would not only rival, but surpass the quality of many leading motor manufactures on the market today.
The result is an efficient, high caliber motor using quality double shielded bearings, sintered Neodymium magnets and a string wound stator ensuring an accurate and consistent winding each and every time.
The Turnigy SK3 motors are suited to modelers who are seeking a quality brushless motor without compromise.

Bought 4 of these for some fast movers I built... 6 cell w/6x5.5 on a scratchbuilt foamy pulling 115 Amps @ 1800 watts!!! Blazing fast with no issues so far. Comes down warm to the touch but not hot... Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to go fast..WOW SUPER
finally got to fly my jet total weight inc battery 2k.
it flew across the sky and sounded great
std 90mm fan 6s 4000mah 40-50c 5 mins and still plenty left 40pcnt in battery
love this motor
looked like a real red arrow I just needed smoke.non semplicemente un motore....ma una belva, con batterie 6s 65/130c il mio mb339 vola meravigliosamenteOrdered this motor three different times but only received one at my first order. Tho other two orders made huge problems because HK told me the motor was not available despite it showed OK/Reserved in my order.
Very, very sad, be careful with this item to order. It shows it is in stock, but isnt.WOW, great motor. I highly recommend it because it produces the same amount of thrust on a plastic fan unit as any alloy unit fan and motor combo with less weight which equals smaller battery and lighter jet all around producing more thrust and higher speeds. This motor is a beast, I highly recommend it.awesome motor.... using it on my ultra funjet with 2200 6s with 190-200amps esc and 7/6 prop...
the jet has turned into a beast......had a scary scremy flight.....:)
although it drains my battery in 3 min will chane the prop to 6.5/6.5 andVERY POWERFUL MOTOR!!!! with a 6x6 prop, better if it is VERY good quality, can transform you funjet in a real deadly weapon!! :O
it needs the 190-200 amps esc, the cheap hobbyking SS Series to run reliably.
too much power if you ask me, and it will get your heart pumping :OONot flown this yet but looks and feels great quality. I have connected it to my 90mm fan and 300mm length tube 90mm down to 80mm for my BAE jet.
Connected a 100A Red Brick ESC , 2 x 3s 4800 45C Lipoly to make it 6s and fired it up . I got 1597W @ 57A .
I will post more as I get the plane up and flying with a 6s 5000mv 45c lipo .static trust 2kg750 in o/d bae hawk a/c weight 2kg700 thrust tube reduced to 80mm on 6cell 5000 flight time 5 mins on sensable use of throttle all take offs on grass strip would get a longer flight but uses alot of juice getting off the deck cannot use a bungee bcause of safety rules in public parkvery good quality and very powerful engine! My recommendation for EDF 90mm!
