At the right price, these are boss

Feb 18, 2022

Picked up 2 on sale at about half price to replace some flipsky 6374 190kv. after about 30miles id have to say these motors are great. theyre quiet and powerful. some dont like the looks but i think theyre decent. id buy again at $100. theyre good but unfortunately i dont think id pay $200.i have yet to take them apart and battle harden, hoping that isnt a herculean task. i based my value grade on the original price.

High Temperature. No Power. Bad Bearings

Jul 04, 2021

So I installed this motor in an electric skateboard with 95mm wheels and a 15:36 gear ratio. The motor gets extremly hot just by riding on a flat road. Going up a hill it is so hpt that i have to stop for 15 min and can only ride with 45 A MAX!!!!!
For this value it is in NO WAY to go in an electric skateboard even a low powerd one.
Some videos on YouTube show bad bearings. Mine as well. So the input shaft wobbles and falles of.
NO good value VERY BAD Quality and that for around 200 bucks!!!
DO NOT BUY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Seized up motor and careful price has doubled!

May 12, 2021

I got 2 of these, 1 worked great, the other seized up and potentially caused a fire in my VESC, or the Fire in the VESC caused the motor to seize up. I'm not sure which happened first tbf. But i brought these for £73 each so not sure why price is currently at £150!! They have doubled the price :/ I will see if warranty covers seized up motor and update here

Good but

Feb 24, 2021

Ordered 2 of these motors for a electric mountain board and one works perfectly fine and pulls fine the other the sensor was unfortunately broken which is a shame warranty wouldn't cover this due to me grinding the keyway on the shaft so i opened it and the black wire was cut luckily i could solder it back on i would recommend checking them when u get them and the phase wires were really short over all though good motors with good power.

Seems really good so far

Jun 18, 2020

The motors work great out of the box, amazing torck and not so hot
Only two cons : phase wires really short
some of the grubs that hold the can seems threaded, which as long as i doesn't try to open it is fine, but will probably be a problem when i'll try to mod it

Great motor fot yours eSK8/eMTB

Jan 27, 2020

Riding on that motor almost 3 months. Max Amp set 90A and it is not even getting warm while crusing. 40% slope is not an problem with 5.4:1 gearbox and 200mm wheel diameter.

Great

Jan 04, 2019

These have worked great for me. I haven't run them too sustained load, but they've handled peaks over 100A of startup load (120-150A). Get them mounted securely before powering or they will tear surroundings/wiring up - they are very powerful. Resistance was well below specification too.
