Great motor providing good HS of 2100 -2300 on 6S. Shaft is too short for TTX50e so new one made with 6mm 316 grade SSteel and works a treat. Motor temp ok. Torque good. Overall build is good.
This is now my 3rd one of these motors. 2 of them already do their job on 2 hk-600 helis. Awsome motor with 6S setup and 15 tooth pinion. On has now > 400 flights, the other one > 250 flights and no issues. This one now will be built in in my 3rd heli. Based on the experience I am not ready to do some experiments, so the new heli gets the same motor. BTW: No. one works with a K-Force 150A opto and no. 2 works with a 100A YEP ESC. The 3rd one will also do his job on a yep. Both escs and both motors are not getting hot, even very slghtly warm even on hot days. So perfect setup for that heli. Put in and forget, thats what I like.
Der Turnigy T600 luft seit Herbst 2012 in meinem AHF 600 - bis jetz ohne Anzeichen von Verschlei.
Der Motor hat ordentlich Leistung, zieht bei mir aber Spitzenstrme bis 130 A laut ISII-Telemetrie. Also nicht zu sparsam mit der Reglerauslegung sein! Ich habe ich den YEP 100A gegen den YEP 150A LV Regler getauscht um auf der sicheren Seite zu sein.

Habe den motor nun seit einem jahr im Einsatz und kann nichts schlechtes sagen,
Leistung super und strohm max 95ah,fliege ihm im t-rex600,
Habe mir nun den assault700 bestellt,da soll er auch rein,mal schauen wie er da geht,
Align 600E, 6s 5000 40c, K-force 100A (high gov, 7.5deg timing), helical main gear (188T), helical pinion 16T, MS Composit Champion blades. 5 min od mid 3D and 3,78-3,80 per cell after flight. Best 6s setup.
Fitted this motor to my HK600GT which I have converted to flybarless. I'm using trex 600 dfc head and blade grips with spectrum ar7200bx system. With a 14t pinion I get about 2200 rpm head speed. I am using 5000mah 6s turnigy battery which gives me 7.30 mins flying leaving 20pcnt reserve. The moter comes down slightly warm. This is an excellent moter and realy cheap.
Im fitting this motor to my HK550 heli with the stock 16T pinion. Nicely packed and a well built motor from just looking at it. To install in a Trex 550 style heli, you need to cut the frame to allow the top section of the motor to fit. Also as the motor mount is design for 3-3.5mm bolts you need to open the slots with a file to allow the 4mm bolts to fit through. One disappointment with the motor was that it didnt come with 4mm bolts, spring washers & normal washers like other Turnigy motors I have bought in the past. I yet to test fly, but from what others are saying it should be good.
Enough power for a HK-600. I use 6S setup with 15 tooth pinion on a 170 tooth align main gear, cause the HK-gear was wobbeling fore and back,so I could not get the right spacing from piinion to main gear. I also had to cut some carbon out of the fuse and u must turn the motor plate upside down to fix this motor. Use short screws because on my motor, the outgoing cables are quiet near the top and just under the threaded hole. My screws on the top of the can had been secured with threadlock. Motor seems very good machined. Keeps cool during some sports flying and soft 3D. Didnt test hard 3D cause unable do do.

Full 5 Stars, it has now done just over 250 flights, no bearing changes, a couple of oils. To be fair it seems to be loosing a little power now, probably because a fly 4-6 times back to back with no cooling (heat weakens the magnets), but it still sounds good.
As mentioned loads before, frame cutting is a must for the HK600 but this is very easy, just wear a mask!! (CF is a killer).
I've done tests, this moter is a little better than the Turnigy Typhoon 600H (which fits without frame cutting).
