Running this on my hyper st. As some may know these are heavy tanks. But this motor handers easily. Spinning front wheels and wheeling. Definitely worth getting

I put it on my BZ-888 with stock ESC and it works very well. I then also upgrade the ESC with Gen II 150A and I can say they are a perfect pair. Plenty of power and torque. Very smooth. Although it is not hot, I still add a heat sink for sure to run in very hot weather. I also made them waterproof and gave me lots of fun without fear.

Ok. So I matched this motor with the Turnigy TrackStar 150A Gen II ESC and, without a doubt, I believe that it is the perfect combination. Smooth, linear acceleration and zero cogging with the ESC set at zero timing. This motor is a whisker underneath the tolerances of the ESC with the battery I'm running but it works hard, does not overheat and delivers great power for what I need (1:8 buggy). Strongly recommended for this application.

The motor looks great!!
But it did not fit the Tekno V3 Motor mount i use on muy Mugen MBX6....
After some engineering it fits.

The motor does not run hot, it has great torck and when using the sensor it is really smooth.
I use it with a 150 Amp Ace RC ESC, ( Hobbywing XERUN) ad this works great.

Motor is very fast, great price, but there is one gaping issue with the motor and that is the sensor port. There is nothing around the port to protect from dirt and water getting inside, and after I washed off my buggy, it stopped worked part way through my run the next day. I thought it was the ESC, but the ESC checked out on another motor. I took apart the motor, and it had water inside of it! I looked at the culprit, and around the port, I can see daylight. There should be some silicone around it to prevent this from happening.

I Put this motor in a heavey 1/8 buggy (str8) and converted it to sct with extra weight.hard raod 1/8 wheels (cheep) and low gearing, locked up the centre diff with good sensor safe high temp sylicone (basicly glued it up but it can be restored) and it drifts on dry bitchy so well.most buggies will shred with sacrficeal tyres.this motor is very good at 4 cell as a shedder, seems to have that nasty grunt that when your modestly(gearing) flat out you just turn it around at 60 km and hit it and it just shreds instantly and goes the ather way.its good.maby im a bit stange

Run this engine in my Traxxas Summit and it is great! I have Trenchers X on it and this thing runs like a champ! The summit is incredibly fast now, though something that large doesn't do this gracefully! I run my summit hard and this thing just spits out power and asks for more and doesn't even break a sweat. I've yet to see my temps in excess of 130. Mine is paired to a Mamba Max Pro ESC using the sensor cable. It is extremely smooth at low speeds and I can crawl it so slow even in high gear! I love this motor and would suggest it to anyone who is considering it.
