I have this on an old T-maxx that I converted to electric. I have a dynamite .21 big block chassis with rpm arms, old school proline moab 40 series on Cheyenne wheels, savox 1270tg steering servo, summit trans, and a mmx esc. I run 6500mah 65c 4s lipo, and on an 85*f day, temp hits 120*f. 55mph at around 3/4 throttle is where the front tires come off of the groundjust received the Turnigy TrackStar 1/8th Sensored Brushless Motor 2400KV PRODUCT ID: 9192000096 .but i found that it had a problem while trying to run the motor with sensor cable provived , yes , i had tried other sensor cable as well but it still the same ,it running look like out of signal. i tryied to disconect the sensor cable and found it is working prefect.
in this case , what should i do ?Tremendous power for my kyosho inferno brushless conversion. Big shaft, big bearings. Gets a bit warm on hotter days, I might have to gear a bit lower but it goes crazy fast on 4s with a 13t pinion.I've bought this motor with a Turnigy Trackstar 150A GenII 1/8th Scale Sensored Brushless Car ESC to put on my savage s-25. The savage weight is 8.5 kilos with 2*3400mha 2s 40c. It's fully modded with lst shock absorber etc.... And my savage is just crazy!!! Backflip are easy to do ^^ Great esc! I recommendGreat motor! Runs cool in my Erevo, and has as much or more power than the oem Castle motor while being much more precise being sensored.. I did have to gear down a little bit due to the higher kv to lighten the load on my fairly low c rating batteries. Geared stock however I could be going half to three quarters throttle on 4s and just a slight increase in throttle would still lift the frontend off the ground, and the control was smooth enough to actually hold the wheelie until I ran out of room to go straight haha! A product.I have nothing bad to say about this motor very well built runs very strong over sized bearings runs cool anyone on the fence about this motor will love itI'm using this motor for last 2 months. Before using a cooling fan, the motor heated up to 90C and worked with no problems. Now, runing beside a 40x40 12V cooling fan, the motor heats up to max 65C. It delivers brutal power, the sensors work fine allso. I'm using it with a Gen2 150A Trackstar ESC. TOP BUY!Awesome motor for the price, heaps of power on 4S, would recommend to anyone looking for a cheaper alternative to a castle or tekin motor.
