right this motor and the trackstar 100amp esc bruns up the sensor,s in the motor when you plug in the sensor plug and it work,s fine with out the sensor so DO NOT USE SENSOR WITH 17.5T 1870KV AND TRACKSTAR 100AMP SENSORED ESC

Great looking motor with super silent smooth operation. If you're planing to use this motor on a crawler/scaler then you *really* must have a sensored ESC otherwise the motor will gag a lot when going slowly over obstacles.

Nearly killed this motor with the Trackstar 100A ESC. It survived a smoke signal it send out for help, but is still running good with no problem and no vissible damage inside after opening and inspection without stripping the windings. There may be some damage in the middle of the coils. It is well and very neatly constucted. I'll get another more suitable ESC for it and I think it still have a lot of wheelspins on it. Nice motor

Great motor! Installed into a Honcho with the HobbyKing 60A sensored ESC on 3S. Better top speeds than stock, and still slow enough for crawling. Using stock 20T pinion. I also removed the fan and when through 2 packs at max speed. ESC and motor were barely warm. I think the low kV is perfect for crawling/trail running. Mine came with a sensor cable.

Good quality motor. Tired of brushed motors in a M car series from Tamiya, you should really consider to buy this motor.

Well packaged, sensor lead is rubbish, magnets feel nice and strong, lower KV than other 17.5 motors so may need to be geared up. ended up putting it in my son's M05 as the 3300kv motor was too much for him, runs well and minimal cogging with an EX-RUN 35A Esc, barely gets warm and ESC has little heat without any fan on the heatsink.
