I've got one of these motors in my Team Durango DEX408 with a Hobbywing Xerun 150Amp ESC 60T spur,19T pinion and 2x 2S lipo and the speed and power is awesome.....WOW !!
Highly recommended motor, and excellent value for money.
I did a speed calculation (gear ratios, tyre diameter, volts etc etc) and the result was 124km/h which wouldn't surprise me

I installed this motor in my Traxxas Slash 2WD. The car was just awesome. The gas response is lightning fast and the motor torque at low rpm. Other strategic car parts are, Mamba Monster ESC, Battery Thunder Power 3S 5000mAh 70C, spurgear 86, pinion 28, the drive shafts are thicker MIP, the rear tires Pro-Line Sling Shot, car body Anza LCG, as well as aluminum gearbox.
car's center of gravity is almost in the middle of the car, and it allows for a staggering acceleration without the bow immediate boarding.
There is nothing on the market differential will not take longer than ten batteries. Now I have put the differential in place of the direct axis and the car runs just fine. Lock the rear grip increased incredibly a lot. The car is surprisingly easy to drive on the soft sand although there is no differential.
One charge has not run for very long. I replaced the engine 10AWG wires, and they warm up a bit. Cables are long, though, because the center of gravity because of installed right in front of the governor, as soon as the back side of the bumper.
ESC is not very hot, but the fan rotates while driving, and goes out shortly come to a standstill.
Engine stays pretty cool. It can hold your hand.
Previously, I had the engine of Neu-Castle 1415 (2400kV).
Engine differences are huge. I think I'll put up for sale in my Neu :D
I had to slightly modify the buffer that it does not hit

This motor is a beast, ive ran it in my Losi 8ight 2.0 buggy and my 8ight T 2.0 with no problems at all. this thing is bad ass, talk about get up and go. It definitely had my speed control temp up pretty high, but I didnt even mess with the gearing. Its the perfect back up motor to have. I only wish i would have got the sensored one but this was all they had at the US store.

Just install it in my Slash 4x4 with Mamba Monster, 2.8" Proline Badlands & 17/52 gearing.
> Forget your original drive-shaft (life time with this motor: few seconds).

Insane in 3S, I have to check in 4S (need to find the good timing).
Seems to be similar to Toro X8 2D & Tenshock x802 but less than 1/2 the price!

After happening the good timing, i'll uodate the feedback.

i received the turnigy 2650kv motor installed it in a losi 2.0 late model and it stated making noise vibrating & getting hot on the very first test in my driveway just like several other reviews stated it is a crap shoot !! i thought i would give one a try and it cost me $20 in shipping so i would not recommend this motor until hk does better job on the quality control on it...............
the customer service on the return was good but they issued me store credit instead of a refund. i had to buy another motor to use while i waited on them.
