Fast motor

Sep 11, 2020

Very fast motor, no issue if coupled with the right ESC.
Advice for Tamiya folks: Do not try to use this motor with a TBLE-02s, as this ESC simply could not feed a 7.5t motor. Mine first starts cogging, then the ESC died smoking.
Coupled with a Trackstar Turbo 80A ESC in a Tamiya TT-02 this motor pushes very hard, and the car is almost uncontrollable if you set advanced turbo timing.
Plenty of power. Will buy it again.

Great motor.

Bought this to put in my old Cougar SV2 to bash with.
Very fast and well made motor.
Would recommend for bashers and would probably be a great race motor too.

Good size for my 1/10 scale truggy

Jul 23, 2019

Power is just right did have some clogging with one of my esc but got a 120 amp gen 2 track star and no clogging now so I'm happy with a fan it runs in high 70s it was running a lil hot before the fan 190s but with my truggy I could not gear it down any lower so the fan worked great would buy this again

This thing is good!

Jul 11, 2017

Let's start with the only bad thing so far: soldering (it was my first time soldering). I put it in a Tamiya TT-01 with the Trackstar GenII 120A ESC and stock gearing. The track was a bit dusty and I had zero traction (even with Tamiya slicks) but even at half throttle it was faster than the stock motor was at full throttle. Damn. Will definitely buy other Trackstar motors.

On pair with motors from many notable manufacturers but less than half the price. Running it on a BSR BT-4 with a HobbyKing? ? X-Car 60A Brushless Car ESC. Very smooth power delivery but a gets a bit hot without a cooling fan.
