Hobbyking and most hobby parts retailers have this habit of not telling everything we need to know before making a purchase. They do this on purpose so we are forced to experiment and learn on our own, translating into having to buy more stuff till we get what we want.

This is no exception! With no real que what ESC would be the best for this motor, I have had to experiment, turns out I had one all along but now I am waiting for one to come in the mail that I have no need for, money wasted.

But the real problem with this motor is the placement of the "sensor cable plug"

dumb ass place to put it, right under the wire solder holes!

This issue of them not even putting on wire to the motor is also a pain in the ass.

But I have already broke one of the solder hole just trying to plug in the sensor cable, what a dumb ass place to put that plug!

I started the engine to test, out of the car, in 3S battery, and after 10 seconds he broke and locked. I opened it and found that the imam had literally exploded.

Great motor, great value. Struggled with soldering the new wires on (was a bit awkward) but runs well. Using Turnigy Trackstar 70a waterproof ESC.

Absolutely thrilled with this motor. Build quality seems top notch. Price is awesome. Had my Team Associated SC10 pulling wheelies right out of the box. Thats a lot of truck to snap the nose up on. Race test today so let the durability test begin!

Using this motor with the Hobbyking X-Car 45A Brushless Car ESC (sensored/sensorless) on my Sakura D3 Drift Car and works great on a 2S Lipo 65c. So far it runs cool and functions as it should. Great Price Too!

Very nice motor. I have one of these in each of my drift cars.

Lots of low end torque to get the car sliding.

I use this both with the Turnigy trackstar 60a and the 100A sensored ESC
