Got this combo in my Tamiya M07 as we race all year round out side, turned the speedo down by 40% otherwise it burns the tyres up. Been running it for 10 months or more and cant fault it great value for money. I have the other combos running in my 4wd Vandal Buggy 2cell (5200 combo) and Trooper Short Course truck 3cell (3250) and all are great fun waterproof fast and reliable.

This isn't bad really just not easy to set up and if you're using forward and reverse mode it will occasional just stop for no reason, then after a pause of around 3 seconds will go again. When run on forward only this doesn't happen but it has to be set on reverse to be able to run forward only.
It has a little too much power, I actually thought 4000KV would be quite slow but it's as quick as my 6.5 I have so I've run the timing on low and power on 80pcnt to make it drivavble

Second esc I've bought from Hobbyking, the first been just and esc an 80a one and had nothing but trouble so i thought I'd try the Turnigy brand this time expecting it to be better, I suppose it is, a little bit but not a lot, when its running it runs OK but every so often it wants a break and decides to just stop, which is very interesting when you have another truck right behind you and it runs into you at speed. Luckily it doesn't happen often, but it shouldn't happen at all. It does it before the motor has got warm so it's not a heat issues, I guess it's not suited to stadium trucks. I doubt very much I'll buy esc/motors from hobbykng ever again they really shouldn't get away with selling the garbage they do.

Bought this for my old HPI E-Firestorm. The car is now a bashing monster!

Would recommend this to everyone who wants a nice combo for their 1/10 basher.
