It's an OK charger, but HK does have better choices. Remember that the input voltage must be 13.5v so it may not work off your car battery, and it may not work off your home modified PC power supply. But willwork off some of the good HK Power Supplies available here.

All my 3S bateries 2,2, 1,6 and 1 A, Nanotech, are getting fat.
I checked the bateries and found ALL of them overcarged, 5,0 V per cell and some 4,8V. I opened the charger and will try set the correct charging voltage in the trim pots, if not, the litter will be their final rest place. RIP.

When having charged, the flame went up from the start with the sound called Pons in about 10 minutes, and smoke was full all over the room on yesterday night... It was slept and saved.

This charger is very dangerous! If you buy it, it does not arrange!!

I have four of these has have used them for almost a year. The lights are confusing at first because the lights change if it is balancing or charging. I admit that a couple of my batteries balancing plugs have not worked well in their plugs but I have charged hundreds of batteries with these chargers and they are all within 0-.05V of 4.2V when the charge is complete. I have learned that you cannot turn off the power supply and leave the batteries plugged in or it will run the batteries down as it continues to balance the cells and IT HAS TO HAVE A 13.5 VOLT (or more) POWER SUPPLY OR IT DOESN'T WORK!!!

So far so good still working well, like all cheap balance charger, about 0.01 to 0.02 volts difference between cells after charge. Have 2 noisy fans below the box. Able to stand alone balancing for LIPO without DC.

el mayor problema que observo en este cargador es que necesita mas de 12 volts para funcionar, no le encuentro logica, solemos usar los cargadores en el campo de vuelo y no me parece logico tener que dejar el vehiculo en marcha

After a while of testing, i checked the balance between the cells.
Cell1 : 3,88V
Cell2 : 4,31V
Cell3 : 4,41V

Total of 12,60V is good, but the balance is too bad !!

These chargers are great as long as you have the correct power supply. I use a Turnigy T-20Pro Quality 16A Power Supply and charge 3 2100mah quadcopter batteries in 1hr 15min.
