TURNIGY XK motors are without question one of the best motors on the market today. It all starts in our very own factory where we install precision bearings, correctly rated magnets, balanced rotors, tool-steel shafts and stators that are wound by hand. We rigorously test each and every component at 14 critical points during construction, testing everything from materials all the way through to final performance tests.

Because we design and build these motors completely in-house we control the production and ensure product consistency from design right through to shipping. We removed the middle-man to bring you factory prices while not sacrificing quality or performance.

Features:
• Hand-wound for maximum copper fill.
• Precision-balanced rotor will boost the efficiency and power performance of the motor.
• Nickel-plated sintered neodymium rotor for maximum motor acceleration, braking power and performance in high-temperature conditions.

Great motor for F3G setup

Jan 08, 2021

Used this motor to build a drive system for F3G model. Together with Reisenauer 5:1 gearbox, 100 CC ICE ESC, works perfectly with 3 or 4 s battery. I'm now optimizing the propeller to fit in the 350Wmin rule. Don't know yet what propeller size and battery combination is the best. Overall, works perfectly.

Straight out of the box the motor did have a slight rough noise from a bearing when at high RPM but after a while, the noise had disappeared and now runs smoothly after I put a little bit of oil on the bearings. Other then that the motor has huge amounts of power, even on 3s but is a monster on 5s, it doesn't have nice silicon wires but uses the copper windings as the wire so don't bend them too much. But other than that they look well made and perform well.
