Bought these for a 1/8th nitro truggy. They have no problems turning the wheels under load. They seem like great quality so far and are well put together. Doesn't have all the arms pictured, but that's not a big deal

Resurrecting my old hyper7, picked up 2 of these servos to upgrade to digital and replace my broken hitec hs- 475hb, used them as steering and throttle servos car is better than ever.

Good servo and may be modified to get more rotation.
We do it so that it will work as a sail servo on sailboat.
Look in the FILEs tab for the link to the information.

This is better than my previous Hitec 645MG, which failed after 20 years of on and off use. This 1501 is a bit quicker. My servo from my RTR Thunder Tiger Bushmaster was good buy failed and this is a good replacement for that car, which weighs 10+ pounds and runs 45mph+. If you need a faster/better racing servo then get one. If you just need a replacement for an RTR or other backyard special, you can't beat the price.

I have purchased these in the past and they have worked well for my rock crawler but these new ones are missing two of the arms in the photograph the missing arm that I need is the heavy duty arm with the two holes in it ? The missing arms make the servos useless.
Is quality control nonexistent in China? Doesn't anybody look at these things before they sell them?

I find it puts spikes on 5v power buss.
It seems to draw a lot of current even with no load. I am unable to measure it but the led on my servo tester flickers when servo changes direction.
A high torque servo should not draw a high value of current at no load.
I am afraid that the high power spikes might interfere with the Rx.

Great drop in servo for a Traxxas Slash. I upgraded to this from the stock servo and wish I would have done it earlier. It turns the wheels with ease and does it much quicker.
