    These Turnigy analog waterproof micro servos have excellent torque, speed and centering and all at an excellent price. The gears are made of a metal for strength and durability and the output spline has 21 teeth for a good solid servo arm fixing. They are the perfect choice for small RC models whether aircraft, cars or boats where you need a strong metal gear.

    Bad luck or terrible item

    Bought two of these servos and they are the worst servos I have ever seen. Other one has terrible centering and the other keeps moving the center point further every time I turn the servo. Perhaps I got bad luck with these but I wont buy again.

    I used these to replace the stock aileron servos in a Timber X. These are plenty fast, plenty strong, and are nice and tight. Most of all they got rid of the jitter of the stock servos.

    I wanted these to replace a previous servo of exactly the same size and spec.. They are used in a ducted-fan powered hydroplane which has a dagger-type rudder. That is about the only part of the boat in the water at times. The non-waterproof servo finally gave up due to the stresses on it and the constant getting wet with spray.
    These Turnigy servos are the best replacement for the boat. I'm delighted by their performance. Good value, arrived quicker than expected and were installed and used the same day.

    Nice Waterproof Servos

    I recently ran across plans for an amphibious RC airplane called the Polaris on RC Groups. The Polaris can take off and land on grass, water, and snow. So I wanted to buy waterproof servos. And I like to use servos with metal gears. The TGY-50090W met my requirements and the pricing want just a small amount more than a non-waterproof servo. Time will tell if I made the correct choice, but I think I did.
