The Turnigy D56MG HV is great for small 3D planes and parkflyers where the ruggedness of a metal gear train is required. The coreless motor provides excellent holding power and precision at a great price. The HV voltage lets you use a 2s Lipo or LiFE battery directly with no need for a BEC.

Operating voltage: 4.8-7.4V
Spline Count: 20T

Used it for wing mounted aileron servo mod on U-glider and it works well so far. Strong but not so fast. Anyway it looks it will last long.Excellent, strong yet fast micro servo. Where space is rare, but force needed, this servo will work well.very small servo and light wegiht. also it can handle "high voltage" you can use this widely. This servo is poor quality, and not worth it's price.
I've tested the servo with the HobbyKing LED servo tester and when the servo reaches the extreme signal of 230 it stays locked (jammed) in the extreme position. The good quality servo should not lock up when extreme signal is received.
I initially intended to use these servos for my fixed wing, but knowing the nature of the failure I would not recommend anyone to use these on the air frames of any kind.
I have installed quite a few of these in some mini FPV wings that I built for me and some friends of mine. All have worked out super well. Running them at 5V off the BEC of a 12A ESC.1A Servos.
enorm viel Kraft.
Absolut zu empfehlen. These Turnigy DSGMG servos appear to be well made. I bought four of them for their "HV" capability to use in a HobbyKing DLG. Apart from the motor pinion and its mating gear which were nylon, the remaining gear-train is all aluminium.
I used a two cell 300mAh Turnigy LiPo to power the two servo set-up in my DLG. Both servos failed within five minutes of powering-up. They ceased to work accompanied by a burning smell. A very disappointing result, hence the poor score.
Mark S.je les ai achet? pour mon Extra 300L 3D et j'ai peu qu'il soit un peu faiblard et en, plus je les trouve lentsReceived these servo's yesterday, tested them right away because I was not completely confident that they would function on 2S (there are some messages about them burning on 2S - 8,4V and the technical data on the Hobbyking site and the packaging of the servo state an operating voltage up to 7,4V). First test on 5V with a BEC, than on 6V with BEC, after that on 7,4V on a half charged 2S battery without BEC and final test with fully charged 2S battery. The servo's held up great but are a bit slow on 5V. On 8,4 Volt they rock, very strong, fast and accurate! Going to build them in my Binary V2 DLG. Total weight of the electronics (diversity 6CH LemonRX, 260mAh battery and the three servo's) below 40 grams. Looks promising.Very Great Servo! Using these on my FT Might Mini Arrow.
