These servos fit the Dream Flight Ahi and WeaselI got 2 of these servos to upgrade my Radjet. Fitted first servo which worked very smooth and precise, tested second servo in its position to line up servo arm, but found it judders in certain positions. I removed this servo and tested with servo tester and had the same results.
So I have one good servo for the price of two.
Its probably not worth the post to send it back, so not happy.
Love the Radjet though.Have tested many servos of this size and these are excellent.
The best I have found is the MKS DS6100 but these are 4 times the price and the Turnigy is very close in Quality.
Resolution is excellent.
Centering varied between good and extremely good (there was a slight variation in the 4 I have).
Incredibly these servos had zero slop, I did not think this was possible !
All testing was done with a ten inch (250mm) servo arm.
Overall an incredible servo for the price.Using these in a 1,5m DLG plane as wing servos. They are flat, but not the flattest in the market, nor thew lightest. However they are the cheapest that work perfectly for DLG application.
The geartrain is robust and tight and stays slop free over time. Torque and precision are excellent. It works even below 3,3V so match really well with 1S lipo power setup. At 5V they do draw a lot of power and the smaller bec's and boosters will struggle!
My favorite servo at the moment! same as the Emax branded servos and a programmer is available. Perhaps power draw can be tamed by programming.
-RasmusFantastic Servo. Not FAST but quite STRONG. You get MUCH MORE than you paid with double BB/MG. WOW.Fits in the hyperbipe really well. Comes with good hardware too. Seem quite accurate and strong after 30 or so flights. Great servo for a small plane! Have bought more for a Hsd Viper....sorry HK TornadoServo muito forte, estou utilizando em um HK450DFC; por ser mais estreito ficou melhor para fixar no pitch e aileron.Perfect wing servo for the RCRCM/HK Sunbird, with good centring and torque. They also come with a nice set of horns etc, including some plastic brackets to enable them to be mounted flat. Time will tell how reliable they are, but after a dozen flights or so, they do seem resonably robust.
