    Product Description

    The new Ublox Neo-7M GPS and compass kit incorporates the HMC5883l digital compass and Latest Ublox 7 series 56 channel 10Hz GPS engine. The included molded case and pedestal mount provides a convenient way of mounting the module high and away from possible sources of interference. The new PCB design uses an active circuitry ceramic patch antenna, this combined with the new 7 series module is much more sensitive in GPS hostile environments over the Neo6.  The GPS module comes with a built in rechargeable backup battery for HOT starts, and i2C EEPROM for storage.  The best part is it comes Pre-configured and ready to use with the Pixhawk/PX4 flight controller.

    these are exact same model I received with my 32bit HK pixhawk, they also have a second harness in case you need it. the one installed will work directly with your 32bit FC. I got five sat with those while I was in my office (concrete room with no windows) recommended as spare unit for your FC

    When I purchased the neo 7m I was skeptical about the specs.But to my surprise this unit outperforms the ublox 6 at least by a factor of 2.Fast acquisition of sats and more of them( 12 sats) with hdop of 1.3 in 7 minutes. I highly recommend this for your bird.Only the best from HK

    After all the reviews stating that the cord was too short, it didn't fit the APM 2.6, only the pixhawk, I was pleasantly surprised that mine came with an alternate cable to fit the APM 2.6, and plenty of length, and a 4 screw, retractable mount. Kudos to HK for listening to the people who buy from them. They have obviously updated the product for us.

    Imstalled on a flying pemguin with hkpilot32 .... take a few minutes to get satelite signal.. but after that worked great...

    Using it on a DIY Tricopter with the HKpilot Mega 2.7 and locks on pretty quick. Comes with both 6 and 5pin so you can swap out for the APM board if needed. The cross mount base is plastic and a little big to my liking so built my own out of wood and mounted the CF rod to it instead of the supplied mounting. The folding system is plastic and didn't seem strong for my taste. But overall...works well. Compass does a good job. Happy customer and recommended.
