The Ultra Power UP9 range of chargers uses the latest state-of-the-art technology, is very simple and intuitive to use, and is loaded with lots of features. Their ability to operate from either AC mains or a DC power source of 11~18V means they are extremely versatile, as they can be used at home or when out on the field to charge your batteries.
The UP9 can charge four batteries of the same type and voltage at the same time making it perfect if you use lots of the same batteries to power your models. The large easy-to-read LCD screen shows the information for the battery packs whilst they are being set up, then shows real-time data when the packs are being charged. The charging outputs can simultaneously charge from 0.1~5A up to a max of 50W per port and can charge either 1~6S lithium-type cells (including LiHV), 1~16S NiMH/NiCd, or 1~12S Pb cells.
The UP9 is very simple to set up and use, it features an easy-to-read 2.4" 320x240 IPS LCD color screen for setting up, and it displays all the comprehensive real-time data while charging. Then there is a simple roller shuttle wheel and enter button for programming. The display screen will also change color, when charging it will be blue, and will then turn green when charging is complete.
Overall, the Ultra Power UP9 charger is the perfect charging unit for charging four identical packs simultaneously. It can be either operated from the mains at home, or an external DC power source when out at the flying field, the race track, or the boating lake.
