The motors are pretty decent but the prop assemblies are DANGEROUSLY LOW QUALITY! During a static test on a 3 cell one of the plastic prop mounts broke at high rpm and sent shards of plastic flying across the room and also sent the motor flying. The problem is that the prop grabbers are far too weak, and the screws which hold the blades on are so weak that they were bending. The balance was pretty far off too. I will be replacing the prop assemblies with electrifly ones, however the motors are decent so I will be keeping them. BE CAREFUL! could have easily taken an eye out.

Very dangerous product. Blades flew out because the screws they gave are too short to hold them, resulting in the screw tip undoing itself. I lost a blade because of this.

The second time, I used a longer screw with a nut, but the entire screw sheared outwards due to the centrifugal force. The blade holders are dangerous because they're made of plastic. You've been warned!

Great unit, excellent value!

I received my prop and motor a few days ago, and I can say it is excellent!
Let me tell you what it can do.
Firstly, you know the pitch is reversible, but so are the blades. You could easily set this up to run as a puller or a pusher, and run it either direction, with a few adjustments or wire flips. I have only bench tested mine so far, but it is very strong for it's size. I have tested it on a 3s lipo pack, and it throws a lot of wind.

I am setting mine up for an air rescue boat, so it will be used forward and reverse pitch, and used in a pusher style. So far so good.

They said the blades are 9 inch, but when assembled, the prop measures 10 and a half inches, just remember that when you are getting it set up to your model. The windings in the motor look good, and wound pretty well.

The pitch mechanism works well, but is all plastic, so I would expect wear issues from it. I bought 2 more for parts and to experiment some. It will take another motor, simple by taking the motor off the prop, and getting another hollow shaft motor. I would think this will run fine on a 2s, but I am running 3s. When pulling or pushing on the control, it will put significant resistance on the shaft, but this is because the wind from the prop tries to push it back to neutral. A 9g servo won't cut it, unless you set it with a short throw. You can compensate

Just bought one identical on ebay, same price and everything, this has got to be the retailer!!!!! This one Has a removable engine. I'll take this one and tell all my friends thanks. To change the engine just loosen a set screw, holding the engine on. Then if you got a biggerhollow tube brushless, us that one. To Easy!! As for spare parts, I'll raid my heli for a spare part out on the field in a pinch!

Nice system, especially for the price!!

But it's realy heavy.

The engine runs nice, but with a little inbalance.

i think a 2s battery should be good enough, with the 3s it gives a realy high RPM in neutral.

The pictch is realy hard to change at high RPM, youll need a big servo (HXT900??)

It realy eats batterys. it got my 2s 2100mAh warm!

I cant wait to test it in the air!!
