Massive sail drum servo winch. But manufactures data is incorrect. Below are test results from my rig seen on www.youtube.com/watch?v=x-auOHbFBwU
Sail Servo Quality Control Test Rig

@7.2/6.0v
2kg - 3kg.cm 1.0/1.2sec/100mm Run 0.85/0.8a Hold 0.4/0.03a
4kg - 6.0kg.cm 1.2/1.6sec/100mm Run 1.32/1.25a Hold 0.6/0.5a
Below 4kg is usable for short periods
5kg - 7.5kg.cm 1.3/1.9sec/100mm Run 1.6/1.7a Hold 0.65/0.6a
Do not use below
6kg -9kg.cm 1.6/2.3sec/100mm Run 1.9/1.8a Hold 0.75/0.75a
8kg - 12kg.cm 2.1sec/100mm Run 2.6/xxa Hold 0.95/xxa

Will stall about 9/10kg? My max design criteria is 5kg so this winch should suit. I am not going to pay 150 for a RMG winch. Now for long term stress tests to see if the gears hold up and not wear out.

1. to mention HobbyKing took a long time to ship. Too long.
2. the screw to fix the drum is to small and does not fit.
Both is not very funny.
The craftmanship of the winch looks good.
Power? I dont know if 50 kgs are true but it got more power than others.
More is to report after using a time.

This servo and winch drum works amazingly good on my HK Monsoon that I moved it into my Thunder Tiger ETNZ so I could play with it over the winter in the cold. I just recently received my second one for the HK Monsoon but it unfortunately arrived with broken winch drum. I have Ricky of HK looking into sending me a new winch drum.

Full compliment of brass gears! 2 ball bearings on the final gear. Has rubber rings everywhere to help stop water getting in. VERY tricky to put back together ;-) due to the rubber seals. An interesting way it works (never knew how they got 6 full revs, but they use a counter like on your sterio volume control to count the segments, so it has no limiters like most serovs, nothing to stop it from doing 100rev... Handy if you wanted something like a turntable? Have not run it, but will make myself known if it has issues running!
