    Product Description

    The Volantex 4 channel Sports Cub S2 is the perfect ready to fly aerobatic trainer for beginners. It is made of tough and durable EPP foam, includes a 4 channel 2.4GHz radio system and a 6-axis gyro stabilization system. This gyro system offers 3 modes to help the pilot with learning to fly an RC airplane. The first mode is for super stable flight which makes it perfect for the rookie pilot just starting out in RC flying, the 2nd mode is intermediate which gives partial assistance, the 3rd mode is expert, you have full manual control. The system also includes two one-key functions, there is a "Return Key", press and the model will perform a U-Turn and return back towards the pilot. The other performs aerobatics, press this "One-Key Aerobatics" key, and depending on the position of the sticks this will perform a perfect loop or a roll automatically so that even beginners can enjoy aerobatic flight.


    The pre-installed motor and gearbox, ESC, and supplied 3.7V 360mAh LiPo battery provides ample power for general flying and aerobatics. The Sports Cub S2 comes fully assembled out of the box so is truly "Ready to Fly" and includes everything to get you flying (except Tx batteries). The 2.4GHz radio has a range of over 100 meters and flight times of up to 20 minutes can be achieved on a single charge.

    Great trainer plane

    Having broken 2 4ch planes before, i decided to buy a proper trainer. The beginner mode makes it extremely easy to fly, even in fairly strong wind. In middle mode its still easy to fly, but you can bank harder and do loops. Then in expert mode it is much harder, but didnt take too long to get good at controlling it. Really its a commendation to how good the gyro works. Most importantly, i had quite a few big crashes before i broke anything, and it was only the prop saver, which costs about 90p and it comes with a spare anyway. Typically if you crash nothing breaks at all, and ive had numerous full throttle mishaps straight into the floor. Honestly, a great trainer

    Plugged the battery in and it flew away

    I just got this today, charged the battery up, plugged in the battery and turned on the radio. The prop took off and the plane took off and flew into a corn field before I could grab the controller and catch it. What a waste of $.

    Incredibly good aircraft, flies really stably and slowly. Weight 63 g. Without landing gear and with 1s 300 mAh. Radiomaster TX16S works together with the aircraft, also gyro.
