Works as described. I use the in my DLG 1000mm Wingspan with a Turnigy nano-tech 750mAh 1S 35-70C Lipo.

Mine came with the sticker on the back the wrong way around.
It didn't make sense the connectors were selected that way so beofre I plugged the batt in I came here and checked on the picture above to be sure.
It works fine just make sure yours looks like the one above in on the 3 pin side and out on the cable side

Ive got 2 and both of them in a 4.2v charged LiPo, delivers only 4.00v...
Whats happening?

works well with 1s lipo and orangeRx r610 and 4 dymond servos (but not sure how good you'd do with servos that draw more than that

Currently using this on one of my 1/12th pan cars. Very easy to use. Trouble-free after 2 race meets. Based on some RC forum tips, I have soldered a female Futaba servo plug to the battery's positive & negative post instead of soldering to this booster directly. This allows me to swop boosters without unsoldering, if need be. I've got the Novak SmartBoost on my other pan car and this HobbyKing one is so much smaller & cheaper. Excellent alternative.
