This item has been on backorder for a long time. Is there a similar digital servo someone can recommend for rudder use on a 40 to 60 size sport plane?

I have ordered 4 of these servos. They are working correctly. The servos are precise and strong enough for standard tasks where no big forces on the rudders are expected: They are perfect for example smaller gas trainers (up to 40-60 size).

Please keep in mind: you get what you pay. These servos are not intended for heavy duty tasks in heavy expensive high end gas models. The cost/performance ratio is in my oppinion really ok.



A small disadvantage is that the servos don't come with grommets and sleeves. If you have some spare grommets it is a little bit tricky to get them trough the holes. But there is really no need to cut the casing.

I ordered 8 of these for 2 projects. I have my 60 size trainer complete and these servos are very quick on a 6.0v receiver pack. I have had no problems with centering or chatter. I'm in the process of building the other plane which will really put them to the test. I'm VERY pleased with the VSD-2 servos and would definately buy again!

Bought 3 of these servos, to say they were dissapointing is an understatement.



The come without grommets and the holes for them are solid so you need to cut the casing to get any you have spare to fit.



Of the three "2" are useless in any application except maybe throttle, they chatter like mad trying to centre, the third one is still in its pocket and will stay there.



I wont order these again and the ones i have i will scrap, my models are worth a lot more that these servos.
