This is almost a perfect replica of the Eurocopter AS350 Ecureuil single-engine light utility helicopter. As per the full size, this model is supplied with a 3 blade flybarless rotorhead and a 2 blade tailrotor system. Although the transmitter comes set to mode 2 it can be changed to mode 1.
For a small helicopter, the specifications are quite remarkable. On board, it has a 3 axis gyroscope with a 6 axis switchable mode from the transmitter. The 6 axis mode is perfect for beginners, this makes the AS350 super stable and much easier to fly. In the 3 axis (3D) mode it is perfect for the skilled pilot who wants to have some 3D fun and spirited stunt flying. The 1106 brushless motor provides strong, reliable power and this coupled with the unique blade design gives the AS350 incredible performance for its size.
The AS350 is supplied with a 6ch 2.4GHz computer transmitter that is straightforward to use. The model is set up out of the box and is ready to fly but the more experienced pilot can fine tune things to their own particular needs. Also in the "Ready to Fly" package are 2 x batteries, charging unit with USB lead, spare blades and main gear plus an instruction manual. All in all a great little package for a beginner or expert at a very affordable price.
