Todas as ferramentas necessrias so enviadas no conjunto, que vem at com a cola.
S plugar a bateria e o meu receptor do radio e voar!
Fiquei muito satisfeito com a compra, foi uma excelente escolha!
Recomendo a todos este Yak 54!!

Bought this as a cheap alternative to the Eflite Carbon-Z yak. I wanted a smallish electric to practice maneuvers I could carry over to my 30cc model. I watched the video and, as I had two 4S 3300mA 65C lipo's, ordered it from the Aus warehouse.

Pros
The model arrived about 3 days after the order was placed and was well packed. It took less than an hour to assembly. The overall layout is good with pin type hinges on all surfaces and nice horns and pushrods.
Cons
The paintwork is not the best. Lots of overspray especially on the canopy.
I feel the U/C is too far back as it is very easy for the model to tip onto its nose.
I installed a Spektrum 6Ch rx and the best place was in the space under the rear pilot's seat. I had to add an extension to the throttle lead.
The instructions are not exactly correct for this model, but are sufficient.
The horns are well made, but some of the cap screws supplied were too long and therefore I could not tighten the horns sufficiently. I only had to cut approximately 2mm off the bolts for the elevators.
The bolt supplied for the rudder was too short although it was the length suggested in the manual.
The cockpit finish was not fully complete with white foam showing in many places.
When the cockpit is installed, there is a gap of approximately 3mm between it and the cowling.
Paint on the canopy glazing chips off easily.

Ok, so I have noted a

Hello,

Very Excellent if you change the engine and put a Turnigy G46 Brushless motor instead of the one delivered wich is a little bit too small... Be carefull I had a bad surprised about the mounting of servos. One of the elevator servo was put at the place of the rudder command. So the elevator servos were not running at the same speed.

Regards.

I purchase one of these beauties last year from the International warehouse. It is large, and floats in the sky. I am not a seasoned acrobat pilot but will tell you this giant bird will hover easily and around 1/2 to 2/3 throttle with the stock setup. I found that the stock speed control was a little weak for the provided prop, so I went to a one inch smaller prop and was still able to perform enjoyable flights. This plane will litteraly fly on 1/4 throttle gracefully. I used the nano 4S 3300 Lipo with no problems what so ever. If you want to fly 3D, I would consider an 80amp speed control to avoid in flight failures.
Signed,
One happy flyer

Hi every one i have this model for 1 year now i must did 15 flights with it but i checked everything before the maiden flight i even greesed the motor bearings becouse the motor was very stiff. It flies well but not for executing extreem 3d for example hovering.Landing gears not very strong so if you are not very soft at landing you will damage your prop so order some extra to have for spare(i tried 14x8 wooden turnigy electric prop).
A 4s4000mA batery will give you a 5-6 min in the air safe flight whith this setup(everything stock)
if you want to strengthen your landing gear tie a small steel wire from the left landing gear to the right.

Bought the "bird" only.. No Electronics. Read Reviews

Put in a Turnigy Power 46 670kv, an APC 14x10 prop (the white flexible prop could not hold Vertical), a Turnigy 5000 5S battery, a Turnigy yellow (gold) 6 Channel receiver with Satellite receiver, a Turnigy 2S Receiver battery. Smart-Fly Sport using 1 battery in order to have Voltage regulation to Receiver. ( Could use a Turnigy 5A SBEC, but didn't have one in my parts bin) Had an 80A Turnigy ESC, but it was D.O.A. from HK, so put in my 75A CC. Cut the Center Red Wire in this setup. ( Could use a Turnigy Plush 60A ESC but I didn't have one on hand )

She stands ON PROP.!!!! Thrust is quite well!!!. Sounds and acts like a Bigger bird. She is HEAVY the way I loaded it. 7lbs !!!

Doesn't matter, the motor pulls it out of site vertically in no time flat.

NOTES on Construction::

Foamie radials reinforced with Epoxy at every place it contacts inside of Cowl. I also had a friend laser-cut a duplicate radial out of plywood and I glued it to the back of the foamie radial.. Nice and firm.

Cut notch underneath the inside of Canopy and battery well in order to put 5S 5000 battery in and run Heavy guage wires out bottom for a "motor plug". Lets me put in a plug on field when I am ready to ignite motor. SAFETY FOLKS !!

Rear wheel too flimsy for the 7 lbs...replace with Sullivan 10-20lb bird landing wheel.

Great plane. Well made. ALthough: Motor burnt, landing gear too weak. But: beautiful knife flights, slow to land, great look.

@HK: the landing gear is weak and too far behind. Have a look at other Yak54 models. The gear is always a little bit closer to the front. I will move it there and test it soon.

However: big fun for small money.

Great 3D ship ! Do away with the gammy foamie wheel spats ( waste of effort and time ! ) Re-glue the U/C legs-ply mounting board its uses that rubber glue so epoxy this as a matter of priority.

CoG is way aft so you will need a fair whack of lead up front.

Go to YouTube and search chinook969 to check my various posts in this Yak 54 ! Cheers.
