I finally got this plane up in the air with a few modifications. The CG is way off and it should be exactly on the black stripe under the main wing. To achieve that you would either put some dead weight (few inches of rolled up masking tape) in the tail or re-glue the battery mount 1-2cm towards the tail. Wheels don't spin freely but it's an easy fix. Be very gentle on the ailerons as they are ultra sensitive. This plane can handle light breeze.

Got the RTF package 2 days back. I also ordered the turnigy charger and they put it on top of the plane where the canopy is, not sure if it caused the minor crack on it. A couple chipped paint here and there, rudder and elevator not aligned. The plane is basically not flyable because of the defective elevator servo; it freezes up as I push the right stick up slowly half way, and unfreeze itself a few secs later or if I push it all the way up and down a few times. RMA in progress and I want a replacement unit.

I test flew the plane earlier (2 flights). The motor prop work very good together. If you are familiar with the Parkzone Su-26, this is very similar, but both straight out of the box this flies better. The yellow/black color scheme is very helpful for plane orientation. Rolls are a little slow, loops are nice and big if you want. I really like the pop off prop. I didn't want to try knocking it off but I saw it in a video. The prop adapter is like a jacket snap. To whoever designed it thumbs up. I mainly bought the plane to take it apart and build a trainer for my neighbors. I also bought the P-47. It is going to be hard to dismantle the plane because it is a lot of fun but it is not a trainer. Adding a little weight to the nose may reduce the responsiveness enough for a student pilot to fly.

its cheap, flies ok but lacks power. so i expect a yak 54 to be squirrely and it is but i would expect it to have some power and it flies fine but kind of lacks in the power dept. it was only 25 (40) usd on sale so it is inexpensive, maybe worth throwing a brushless setup into.

i got this plane yesterday and it flies very very good for the price much better then i thought it would and its pretty easy to fly. i got 2 of them but one had a bad aileron servo but overall this is a very good plane definitely not a 3D plane but a good micro sport flyer and you would have to have a pretty big gym to fly this indoors.. 5 stars Nine eagles.

If your thinking about it buy it! you wont be disappointed. I have years experience on simulators and about 20 flights on a real trainer and i can fly this with ease. Just remember to have some CA on the side for those rough landings. Battery last a good while but buy more for those perfect no wind days because you wont want to stop flying. Get it!

first flight I took of from the ground then the wind took it and it glided down into some soft grass, the nose had buckled and nothing ever worked again. Very dissapointed in this model and I would not recommend this model to any1.
