This is a remarkable airplane. I used a l2210a motor and a 9.5 prop trimmed down on the cord to lower the amp output a bit. I extended the ailerons about 1.1/4". I use metal gear servos , 1000mah batteries and no landing gear . Will do anything . Hover , blenders harriers . punch out with vigor. Or super slow high alpha. Best performance is with low or no wind .

Awsome plane, flies superb, don`t bother with dual rates just max throws on all control surfaces. People are saying one control rod is to short, not the case if you connect furthest back servo to rudder and other to elevator they fit fine.

I cannot imagine a higher quality airplane available for the price. Fast shipping and a faster build. Nice and light. Top quality hardware too. Balanced easily per the instructions. First flights tomorrow. Expect it to live up to the Sbach, Hummer and Reakter.

I love this little plane, it is easy to build, flying it is good for its size, very stable and can fly slow too. Good for learning 3D. I use 2200 MAh battery, but i had to mod it a little by cutting new battery mount on the front top of plane (good CG too) and used cutted EPO to close original battery mount behind the motor.

just had first maiden flight today, great plane and kit really is top class for under 30. only one complaint is that all four metal linkage wires are the same lenght and one to a bit short so had to cut my own. But still 5/5

I have owned this plane for a couple of years now and its been through hell and back. Very strong will take alot of abuse, even if you manage to break it, hot glue fixes just about everything. I have had several setups on this and eventually settled on a heavier setup. Hobbyking 30A ESC and a big NTM 35-30 1400KV motor turning a 9X6 Prop (approx 270W). I ended up shifting the receiver to the battery slot at front and cut out the receiver hole larger to support larger batteries. Battery sits very close to cg spot and changes in weight dont affect cg much. I usually use turnigy nanotech 1000mah 3 cell, pulls about 24amp and get about 3.5 to 4 min flights. I have also fitted leds for night flying and usually use 1500mah for that or in heavy winds. After a while I noticed my fuselage had flex in it, fixed it by regluing cf rods in fuselage while holding flat on table. On this setup I have lots of power and motor comes down cool even in hot weather, can fly battery after battery after battery no probs, esc gets luke warm on hot days. For the price brillant plane, very capable 3D flyer but prob not extreme 3d. I find mine hard to hold in hover and very pitchy when upside down, prob my big motor isnt helping, lol. Not really for a learner but if you tamed down controls prob make good 2nd or 3rd plane. Great plane to learn 3d with.
