Product Description

Solder Wick, also known as Desoldering Braid is used in the desoldering of electronic components and other items. It is a finely braided copper wire that has been coated with a soldering rosin flux and is supplied in a 1.5 metre roll.

To use the wick you heat up the solder joint with your soldering iron, when the solder melts you apply the braid/wick to the joint and the solder is wicked up by capillary action, simple as that.

Dimensions: 2mm x 1.5 metres
