The Z-1 Rider 3-axis handheld gimbal is a great looking, compact and above all, user-friendly camera stabilizing unit for your GoPro action camera and is capable of giving outstanding results.

Designed to be particularly suited for handlebar, helmet and chest (or similar) mounting by virtue of universal bracket, the Z-1 Rider features a unique remotely located control module, connected to the gimbal body by a fixed 1450mm long lead.  
Its light weight, ergonomic design allows it to be mounted almost anywhere, while its compact dimensions let you pack it away almost anywhere when not in use.

The Z-1 Rider has 3 different modes to give you ultimate freedom ; heading Following Mode, locking Mode and heading/pitch following mode.

Locking Mode: Heading, Pitch and Roll are locked.

Heading Following Mode: Pitch and Roll are locked. Heading rotates, allowing you to follow the subject smoothly.

Heading and Pitch Following Mode: Roll is locked, Heading and Pitch rotate smoothly to follow the direction of the handheld.

The Z-1 range of gimbals is designed for use with the GoPro range of cameras, but may be used with similar cameras with modifications.

The Z-1 Rider is able to process motor and attitude data around twice as fast as similar products providing unparallelled image stability. Integrated round motor magnets in the gimbal motors give ultra-smooth operation and the 18350 LiPoly batteries allow 3~4 hours of operating time between charges.
