!! NOTE !! In difference to the words of ENZI and STEFFEN in the Discussion part, I found the correct order of the two balance plugs are: the 3S first (cell 1-3 or 3.7V to 11.1V) and then the 4S (cell 4-7 or 14.4V to 25.9V)! True is in ANY case, that the LAST pin of the 3S balance plug inside the Lipo is the VERY SAME as the first pin of the 4S plug. SO, if you realy want to change and rewire to a true 7S (8 poles) Balance plug instead useing this split system, leave out the first cable/Pin of the 4S Balancer plug - that means continue with Pin 2 to Pin5 = 8 Pins Total = 7S Balancer plug. Btw, I am using a PULSAR 3 Charger from Germany (it is up to 14S Lipo or 16S LiFepo) with its usual self-soldered PULSAR BalanceBoard in a 3S-4S-3S-4S Plug row to charge my 14S4P, 23200mA within 1 hour at 48V Input = 1.4kW. If Questions* ask.... Greets, Frank

...bisher nur ausgepackt und direkt nen Schreck bekommen. Da ist kein 7S-Balancerstecker dran, sondern ein 4S ein 3S. Das heisst Adapter basteln. Warum macht man sowas, das ist doch Mist...?

I got a pair of these for a Logo 800 while I was waiting on another set of high dollar packs that needed returned to a different vendor for manufacturer defects. Of the two high dollar packs, one had a dead cell and the other had a broken balance wire inside. At almost $200 a pack that just was not happening. So, I thought I would give these Zippys a go.

One pack came with one cell lower than the others but not dangerously low (3.73v). They all came up fine on the first charge and now have about a 12 cycles on them. They now finish a flight with a very close to even on voltage check and are getting better with each flight. I balance every charge, just good practice.

I did have to rewire the balance ports with an 8 wire lead like people are talking about here but, it was easy after doing a little research on the subject. Still, they should come with the 7s connector. Slight ding in the value rating for this.

Physically, these pack have almost exactly the same dimensions as the other set of 65c 5000mah 7s packs I have for this heli, so they fit well and they are delivering good power. The Logo flies great with them. I would, and may, buy more. Initial quality is very good. I am interested to see how they hold up after 50 plus cycles. I may review again at that time.

I had to change the 2 balance plugs since HK doesn't sell any board that can handle such a pack... 7 S single plug soldered instead then no problems at all to charge and store it. Flies in a 5,2 kilos Pilatus Porter (2,11 m wingspan) with SK3 5055 320 Kv motor, Master Airscrew 16 x 8 3 blades prop and Red Brick 125 A ESC TGY UBEC : 5,7 kilos thrust, 48 amps, 1500 Watts. > 12 minutes cool flights with some nice almost vertical climbs, loops, rolls... Good cheap battery but 4 crowns only because of those stupid balance plugs.

they use two connectors on this. try to find a charger that will handle a 4s and 3s plug at the same time.

I go and get an 8s charger.. guess what, can't find a balance board that will do both a 4s and 3s at the same time.

I have to get two 4s small chargers to balance this with.

Poorly designed product. The Turnegy packs have a single 7s connector.. this makes sense. But stay away from this pack unless you under stand the problems and how to charge this.

Very poor quality

Sehr kompakte abmessungen saubere verarbeitung, leider sind die Stecker immer noch nicht auf 7 S sondern auf 3 und 4 S ausgelegt.
