It doesn’t work

Jan 09, 2020

I received this model as a gift. I have assembled it and prepared it for trial. The support fans worked. The drive fans worked before floating once it was placed on the water the support fans continued to work but the drive fans worked at half speed for maybe five seconds then would not restart. I have been unable to get it to work again. It appears that the transmitter is in binding mode but the instructions sheet gives no indication on how to exit this mode. Very disappointed I normally fly all sorts of aircraft and have also had many cars and trucks so I am not new to the hobby. However that said if anyone has any suggestions I am always open to new learning. If not maybe hobby king should reconsider stocking this.... item.

Good on land, awful on water

Oct 21, 2019

This model looks really good. It has nice scale detail but I think that's were some of its performance flaws come from as this means the lift ducts are rather small for the model. It only really works well on flat ground and hovers nicely. On water it is nose heavy ploughing into the water and certainly does not hover. Both forward and reverse work well which is good because usually reverse is a weak point on hovercraft models. I just with that the lift motor was not restricted to 3 settings as there occasions where I would wish I could set it somewhere between the first and second lift setting.
