Just installed this as plug and play using MCPX V2 parts with s fibre glass frame and C05M main and C05S tail with 8T pinion with a 135mm solid 2mm tail boom.
Works well except for the main motor is slow to start or hesitates but can be managed.
You need to have good batteries.
I have also changed the main start up parameters using the HK USB programmer (which works very well) and BLHeli windows software. I have retained the BLHeli 3.4 firmware that is installed
If all wires are soldered instead of plug and play this hesitation may go away
Once the motors run and the heli is in the air response is good and the tail holds better than a brushed motor tail. The heli flies dead steady when hovering
I don't fly 3D so cannot say how good that will be but the heli is more responsive than a standard MCPX.
May try the lastest BLHeli firmware in the future.
The double ESC comes flashed with BLHeli 3.4 for the main XP7A and for the tail SuperMicro 3.5A

wanted to add to my previous review some interesting details / numbers. the exact weight: 3.9 grams with connectors and wires (as delivered). when removing all wires and removing the 2 motor connectors, the weight drops to 2.2 grams! this is the way I used it for my ncpx (yes nano, not mcpx). The dual ESC board is slightly smaller than the ncpx main board and can easily sit right in front of the ncpx main board. for ncpx, use signal A and D (you can use the small wires as delivred as these are connected to A and D).

I am using this in my nano cpx. Using the 2 gram brushless kv 7700 motor from hobyking for tail and using the famous hp03se mild motor as main. I did not flash the unit. I did remove the wires and connectors and soldered both brushless motors directly o the board, using ashort piece of servo wire for the power. My nano cpx full brushless is now only 1.5 grams heavier than original brushed version. Performance is significantly better with brushless. Flifgt time is slightly shorter: hover 4min 15 seconds in BL versus 4mins 35 seconds in brushed version.

Great value for the money! Very happy with it.ded.

This controller needs a bit of understanding before you can say it doesn't work. I had the same glitch as every one else that when you start it up with the blades on it would only start for a second then drop away. Two things which is a must 1 you must solder the motor wires to the board to get the best performance out of this unit, 2 you must have helibal from the files tab above installed on you computer flash the new firmware in to it v6.1 I think and then if you still have this issue load the ini file called TJmainFBL into helibal and load those settings into your speed controller 14000KV motor as main.

I have a 14000kv main and 12000kv tailmotor with this esc alll from hobby king.
Realy good combi for mcpx. I realy like this dual esc and dont need a converter. The mcpx jumps like a cat and i realy injoy my helicopter. Very very nice stetup money well spend. Thanx hobbyking

I use this double ESC with a Blade Mcpx V1 and the Walkera Genuis Brushless kit. With a 9 T pinion Gear and the Turnigy 1S 45c 300mAh
Lipo the weight is exactley 50gr.
This is good for four minutes power/3D fun flight. The ESC works very,very well, it only gets slightly warm.The Tail of my MCPX is much better than the original.

5 Crowns for it , strongly recommendet.

It ist a fine brushless Board fpr mcpx.
It does`t work with C05M Micro brushless outrunner 11000kv!!!

Das ist echt ein tolles Board fr denMcpx
Achtung man muss bei jedem Lipowechsel die Motoen erst scharf schalten, das heist Motor auf kein Gas, Lipo dran, initialisieren,dann Gas kurz an *piept* Gas aus *piept* Achtung nun sind die Motoren scharf und drehen jetzt sofort an wenn man Gas gibt.
Luft bei mir perfekt mit 14000KV Main und 12000 Heckmotor.
mit dem C05M Micro brushless outrunner 11000kv funktionierte es nicht.
It does`t work with C05M Micro brushless outrunner 11000kv!!!
