Disappointing! Not bright at all. I also got the Red LEDs, they are much brighter. Maybe I just got a defective one

the green array cannot be used down to 4,8V, only a very weak because the effective treshold for the green diodes is ca. 2,6V. The diodes is 2 pc. in series with a 160 ohm current limiting resistor. At 8,5V you get 10 ma per string = total 20 ma. the light is very bright and this set can be used direct on a 2s lipo batteri without any modification. Be aware the red ligt emitting diodes has a effective treshold about 1,6V and this set might be overloaded if connected direct to 2s lipo. Very good quality leds.

I bought this supposedly as a nav light but instead of four LEDs only one is working. If their quality control checked it i.would have given.this product.5 stars.

I bought one of these, two strips of white and a strip of red. I've rigged them up on a Tuff Trainer to hopefully allow easy night flying (haven't tried it out yet).



These lights are quite bright, as you'd expect for most modern LEDs. To power them, I made up a y-cable to use the 3s battery and soldered a connector to all the wires. The lights are paired up with a resistor for each pair, making it safe to take the full ~11.1V from the battery. Running a 4s might be pushing your luck and I reckon they wouldn't be bright enough on a 2s.



I'll update on whether these are enough to fly at night when I've tried them out.

Arrived DOA(DEAD AN ARRIVAL ! ) I also bought the red and the white ones. Red is bright the white has a fading bulb....so only three are working ...mmmmmm................
