Decent servo for the price ...will order again

I ordered four of these servos and one had a dead spot and jumped over that spot when operating. Hobbyking came through with a replacement in short order. The replacement was a bit jittery at first, especially near the end of sweep, but after running a few minutes on a servo tester it calmed down and is now working fine. Now I have four servos that are smooth, quiet at all speeds and very precise for analog servos (decently powerful too). Adjusting the tester by 1us showed a slight angular change so these servos are comparable to digital for precision. The servos recenter perfectly at 150us repeatedly so that is nice. Originally I was a bit dissapointed that 1 of 4 servos was defective but Hobbyking stood by thier product and made good... (I actually think the postage to send out one replacement servo was more than the cost of the servo...Customer service! :-) )

Smooth and quiet

The sample I tested is smooth and quiet in operation. The size is similar to New Power XL-16HM/17HMB but slightly taller, so bespoke wing servo mounts will require minor modification.

Bought 4, all OK. BUT: Weight is 20.8g without lever/screw! 3.3g heavier than described. 4*3.3g=13.2g. Good centering, low noise.

I bought these servos for my Multiplex Twinstar. 5 of the 6 I bought work fine. The 6th works also, but the manufacturer forgot a minor detail: the output shaft bearing...
So the servo is not usable, but for that price, I will not complain.

Be carefull.The servo is very bad and dangerous cause when is back in land looks ok. When the servo is working a lot the first plastic gear (on the motor shaft) starts to fail cause the servo motor becomes hot and the first gear starts to drift on the motor shaft (when the servo colds down the servo looks ok). But in the air you loose the plane.
