Avios Albatross HU-16 - AeroStar 30A RVS ESC Set (2pcs)

The Aerostar RVS range of brushless speed controllers is designed for fixed-wing aircraft. They feature super smooth startup, linear throttle response, multiple protection features and a reverse function designed with seaplanes in mind, but also useful for other applications like Short Take Off & Landing (STOL). Always ensure your motor has stopped before going into reverse.

My AVIOS Mule needed an ESC as I ripped one apart on my wing.. It was impossible to repair, and I had to wait months for a replacement. This Albatross ESC will work perfectly!

Shipment was very fast. Customer service was very good and looked after my questions quickly. I'm using the esc's in my own project a Canadair CL415 waterbomber. The differential thrust improves the ground handling. The reverse thrust is great to slow the model after landing. The club members are impressed.

Basically a good product

Pricing is good. Delivery was good, On Time. The reason for 4 stars on quality is because one of the ESC stopped working after 2 minutes of use. Customer support was fantastic. After a few questions, they agreed that it was a warranty situation. As soon as the ESC comes of back order, they will send a replacement.

Reasonable install and ready to go. Original ESC was supposed to be waterproof but clearly it wasn't! Small hole in sealant allowed water in to short circuit one unit. Check they are sealed! Unit cost reasonable, freight cost not. Half the price of the ESC's!

.....by substituting RVS 40 A ESC for the 30 A. Doing so supports the HU-16 Albatross electrical system more effectively and cooler ESC operating temp.
