I've bought these and they are quite light. will be ok to place in smaller sailplanes that are hard to land. i've bought them to (doubled) place them in a sailplane of 6m, but will likely never use them because they seem too fragile for me. I've got the feeling that the nuts will fall out and cause serious trouble in the air. I won't mind to pay the double for slightly larger but stronger airbrakes.

Not yet buy but I'd like to order the right servo , as thin & light as possible , that can make the gap

Good quality airbrakes. Use them in a 1/5th scale ASW15. Same quality as any of the 'bigger' brands.

As described. You need this if you want to install airbrake in a thin wing. Those are just 10mm high!

These air brakes / spoilers are exactly as described. They require that a slot is cut into the wing,to receive the box, adding the depth of the wing skin (Balsa Or Ply) which is then glued over the box edges and the emerging blade top. They can then be profiled to airfoil shape.
Note they are left and right. The lower blade faces forward. There is a 2mm threaded rod and joiner that can be used for fine pushrod length adjustment, as they must open and close together. They cannot be disassembled. They are well made and contain cast alloy actuating arms. There is no positive closed lock, but this can be arranged at the servo end,by going near over centre.
Excellent quality and value.
