This boat arrived with 2726kv motor. I'm running it with 2x3S in parallel. The 120amp Turnigy ESC gets a little warm and the wires heat up a bit but all seems well.
Runs nicely after dialing in the output strut downwards, it was a bit high initially.
Might try moving rudder over, out of the way of the propeller cone and back towards hull to see how it runs that way. Likes to run in smooth water. Motor runs cool. Got it during the King Kong sale for cheap, could not resist.

Boat looks good, comes with a 2726kv motor not a 1620kv.
Nice that it comes with a stand. Awaiting ESC to get running. Will try on 3s in parallel first.

Where and when will you get parts for this boat.I need a 4mm prop dog that is good!!I have owned it for 2 years and still no parts,why not?

Das Modell ist echt Klasse, fahre es mit 6S und 37er(1.9) Aluprop.
Einziger Mangel ist die Akkuhalterung die ich ndern musste.
Fr den Preis echt Top und an 6S Sau schnell.

i already buy 2 pcs of this product and the motor came with 2726 KV not 1660 KV like they said it the product information..SO I THINK HOBBYKING MUST BE UPGRADED THIS BOAT SPECS INFORMATION !

Good boat tho esc will over heat! Make sure you mod the cooling system before use. Great hull and drive gear n well packed If your going to use a 6s set up be sure to upgrade the esc n prop as the plastic prop will not handle the high rpm and break! Over all this boat was a good buy thanks hobby king good value
