I'm using ASP 91 a few months ago and he has been a great engine, with a strong torque and power, can do 3D maneuvers easily, easy to operate and regular, I am noticing only a high consumption, but I think it's because I'm using a richer mixture to keep it well lubricated.

Well made little engine which doesn't cost the earth. Early days but started very easily, after 5 seconds or so, after priming and break in was simple. Using an old ASP plug and it suits the motor fine but will change to an OS F plug after a few more tanks of fuel as I find that breaking in usually shortens the plug life due to the richer mixture settings. Discarded the choke mechanism and used the extension for the high speed needle valve. Choke system isn't needed unless you start by hand flipping. After 6 tanks of fuel it idles at 2100 rpm easily, doesn't load up even after a couple of minutes, and snaps to 9700 rpm without a hiccup (400 rpm short of max rpm with 14x6 prop). At 113 for a .91 four stroke it looks like a bargain. I'm surprised by the quality of this engine for the money. I don't think you could buy better for the price.

These are very good engines, I have bought two of these to use in a modified twin engine application. They idle very well with smooth transitions throughout the throttle range.
Very powerful at full throttle. Good quality at a great price

I purchased this engine to power a .61 sized P-47. It arrived nicely boxed and un damaged. It came with everything discribed, no missing parts or components. I removed the back plate to look for debris and was pleased to see that it was spotless internally. I mounted it to my run-in bench and installed an OS F glowplug. I actuated the choke valve and rotated the prop over a few times to draw the fuel into the carb, spun it a few times to work the fuel into the cylinder and then heated up the plug. It started within 3 flips of the propeller! I broke it in according to some information I stumbled upon in a forum, and I gotta say... this engine runs awesome! Sounds great and pulls real nice with a 14x7 prop! I'm very pleased with the cost and the quality!! Pulls a 9 lb warbird like a mule! 5 stars across the board!!

ber den Motor kann man nichts bemngeln, die verarbeitung ist gleich mit der von Magnum ( sind auch die gleichen Hersteller ). Nur mit den Motorinnereien kann ich noch nix sagen, da dieser erst am Einlaufen ist.
Verbrauch ist auch gering, nur vllt die Leistung in der 15ccm Klasse ist etwas schlechter.

Run engine with recomended fuel and settings started and was easy to tune. But faild to start after a week sat on the bench fuel out and after run in engine every time, took it up today and made no adjustments run rich and bang the engine blew.... sounded like a plug had blown out once on the ground I removed the plug to find no compresion and piston stillwith out stripping my new engine I guess the crank or conrod has broken. Not happy with this product hope I can get a replasment. UNDER A WARANTEE

just had my new motor that had 5 x 10 minuet tank run, broke the crank pin clean off it looks like there is no radius in the corner where the pin increases in diameter where it is pressed in the crankshaft this has been missed in production this is my second 91 and the other is going well after about 100 flights so i dont have any bad things to say i am a metal machinist and these things can happen in mass production just hope hobby king come to the party with a replacement
