Flying weight is 2700g, with both 2200mah batteries, not 2350 as advertised ! it is a shame that it is a little too heavy.
It is a very beautifull plane ; the sound of the four engines is great, but it sounds like some turbo propellers, not like some piston star engines
Bar between the wings is in a stainless steel, it would be better you change it with a carbon one

just maidened my B17 today,absolutely fantastic, the quality of the kit is great,but it is a Freewing product after all,but at Hobby King prices-about 100 pounds less than Freewing for the same plane,flys at about 1/3rd power for scale flight,so getting approx. 7 mins. on a 2200 battery.If you want to be the envy of your clubmates get one of these when they come back in stock,just put it on the flight line and watch them!!

Problemloser Bau;lammfrommer Bodenstart von der Wiese;problemloser langsamer
Flug mit tollen Flugbild;sichere Landung.

This plane is fantastic!! Easy to fly, comes in like a low wing trainer, and the retracts are the incredible. If you want a plane that will have everyone at your set up table looking; get this one. If you want a plane that flies great; gets this one. If you want a plane that doesn't ( I got nothin ). You will not be sorry buying this plane!!!

Just completed maiden flight and I am loving this plane. It took a day to assemble as I checked every part to ensure proper functionality. Had to do a couple of small mods, one to keep motor power leads away from retracts by notching out a little foam from inside the cowling and the other to stop the elevator binding by adjusting the push rods and guides to line up with the elevator linkage. Looks just as great in the air as it does on the ground. Flies like a dream and is very easy to land using the flaps to slow her down. I am using 2 Turnigy nano-tech 2200mah 3S 25~50C Lipo Packs and get about 7 minuets flying time with 20pcnt charge left and found you only need 1/3-1/2 throttle for a good scale flight. Excellent plane HK.

Goes together very quickly and is in good safe boxing. One thing to check is the gear lock down system, make certain it locks. Two issues I had was the rudder servo failed and the elevator one would not return to centre. Fixed and model flies beautifully. Will scream around but is better flying slow and stately. Would recomend this model. oh and no bomb bay doors to weaken the wing.

The plane looked excellent in the packing.
1 of the ESCs was programmed wrong. I had to reverse the polarity of the motor to get it spinning right. No big deal, but I would expect someone would do a quality check.
Even worse one retract does not work. That is frustrating as I now have to wait until Hobby King send me another if they replace it under warranty which I expect they will do.
Elevators are binding, will have to work on them to get them loosend up. But again not a big deal.

Today if my 30 Flights with this Plane... The character that i like about this plane when approach landing... Im addict with this plane... so smooth landing even at grass field... im not the expert because this is my 1st warbird tail dragger... Only do loop with this plane beside normal flight... Just change the prop during my 1st flight due to landing without Retract on... until now the plane still in good condition... Surprise, the stock ESC survive until now..
