Got just faulty, the wires inside the motor is defective.
The wires are not fixed. When installing all the same break would be.
True motor is not rusty ... and it pleases me very much, I'll throw in the garbage is not rusty motor ... $ 20 : (
I want to put 0 stars.

I have bought this expensive out runner but can't fly due to motor shaft Loose. Im tried to fix it, but the track for setscrew damage. I think expensive is good. But actually expensive is bad.

Este motor, proporciona un rendimiento aceptable, pero tiene un problema: el soporte o bancada.

Al ser de aluminio de dudosa calidad,y de poco espesor , se pasa de rosca con mucha facilidad con lo que resulta inutilizado para la mayoria. Adems, su dimetro no se ajusta facilmente, a otro soporte.

No lo recomiendo.

Bought one. When unpacked unit was rusted so much that I couldn't rotate the shaft. pulle dit all apart and cleaned it/wd40 etc etc blah blah - conatcted support but as usual by th etime you send it back and they stuff you around its not worth the hassle or drama. So once again HC stuff is not cheap in the long run

What a con!

Motor rotor (can) was actually rusted to the stator - rusted as in "I couldn't rotate it by hand". There were no grub screws fastening the rotor to the shaft and only one of the grub screw holes was actually threaded.

An expensive outrunner by the time you tap the other grub screw hole clean the rust off, chase around town to find grub screws that fit etc etc

NEVER AGAIN!

used this motor for 2 years (approx. 50 flight)in a twin 3.5 lb.on 3 lipo

or 3 a123 and 4 a123

7x6 prop at 12 amp(each)about 30 ounce thrust

nice smooth running bearings.Motor no good for prop over 9"
