I'm giving less than 5 stars because the brushless drive motor is China made not Japanese. The BLS 31A has the Japanese drive motor for a steadier operation!!
Also, as mentioned previously by someone else, this servo does not have any titanium gears as listed in the HK sales literature!!

These BLS3114 Servos rival those that sell for 4 times the price. They are strong, center instantly without hunting, and are under rated, in peformance. They actually measure up close to 37kg at 7.4 volts, and greater at 8.2 volts (fully charged 2S lipo). I bought a boat load of these for the fleet.

Very strong and well build servo, I use it for 1/8 scale cars. If you can afford it I can recommend it for truggies, monster trucks and such. For rally car, you maybe want faster and weaker servo.

Just fitted 2 of these to a 4WS Gmade R1 and they are great. Had about 2 hours with them so far and they are very powerful, plenty fast enough for a crawler and nicely made. Brushless motor should last a lot longer than coreless. I have tried many cheaper servos for crawling and I am hoping this is the last time I need to buy servos. I checked with Bluebird and the sell replacement gears (amongst other bits) - the code is apparently: 43105 (although it isn't listed on their website). I'll post an update in a month to let you know about durability. I have confidence that they will be long lasting . . . (famous last words)

I am using these servos in a 35pcnt extra with DA120. Performance is exceptional. At 7.2 volts these servos deliver control and precision over a wide flight envelope and really show their muscle in hard 3D maneuvers. Highly recommend for giant scale aircraft.

Hi everybody,



i orderd the Servo for my HPI Baja 5B as throttle / brake Servo because of its high strength and good speed. Before i bought it i compared it with the new Savox high voltage servo 1268sg but the savox is a little bit to weak @ 6v. So the blue bird was orderd here @ Hobbyking.

Now i have a few litres driven with the car and the servo performs very well on very dusty conditions. I run it on a 5000mah 2s rx Lipo. The quality seems to be very good. I havent yet testet wet conditions, but i think it will do its job as good as in other conditions which a car can bashed in. At this moment i can full recommend it to buy!

@ Hobbyking, it would be very nice if you could offer a high voltage brushless Large Scale (steering) Servo for 1/5 scale cars like the Baja -)
